It was a cold winter's evening, the snowflakes dancing in the crisp cool air. The male was walking through the snow, shivering ever so slightly as he tried to keep warm.

The winter stung at Swen’s protruding nose. He was walking unsteadily on his sneakers, slipping every occasionally on the slick snow. He shivered violently in his thin fleece and tee-shirt, his knees knocked together below his shorts. He couldn’t afford many things; winter clothes was one.

Nazaki made it to his apartment. Apparently he was getting a room mate today and he wanted to make sure things were in order before he got here.

He had managed to afford rent at a small apartment. He had to have a roommate, though, which he wasn’t too sure about. He raised his shaking hand and phone to look at the address again. He was nearing it, thank god.

Nazaki removes his jacket, gloves and scarf. He walks to the couch, tidying the living room, and turning up the heater. He places blankets on the couch and sits down, sighing happily.

He reached the complex and hurried in. He breathed a sigh of relief and walked over to the elevator. Floor two, room three. He was still shivering, but he could make it.

He looks up at the clock and decides to start on dinner. It was late, cold, and he was hungry. Pasta it is.

He pressed floor 2’s button and the elevator went to a start. It only took a few moments for him to arrive, step out, find room three and knock.

He looks up from making dinner. Nazaki hurries to the door and opens it slowly. "Hello?"

Swen looked up, his dulled gray eyes running over Nazaki’s face. “Hi there.” He was shaking head to toe, but somehow his speech didn’t get interrupted.

Nazaki blinks a few times before springing into action. He brings the male into the warm apartment, shuts the door, grabs a few things, and sits the other on the couch. He wraps s blanket around him. "What are you doing in summer attire? My word you'll get Frost bite…"

Swen squeaked when he was grabbed and thrust onto the couch with a warm cup and an equally warm blanket wrapped around him.
“It’s… it’s all I could afford.”

He sits down. "Honestly. Your skin is blue…" He shakes his head before smiling. "I'll go watch up a bath okay? Stay here."

Swen blinked a few times. This had suddenly turned down a path he hadn’t been expecting.
“Er… okay.”

After warming the water and plugging the tap, he returns to the living room. "Sorry. My name is Nazaki. I'm your roommate." He says gently.

Swen blinked up at him again. “Hi. I’m Swen. That’s alright.”

"You just looked frozen to the bone… I kind of acted on instinct. Alright, come on now. I think that bath is ready."

Swen blinked. “The bath was for me? You really don’t have to do this!”

He chuckles softly. "Yes for you. You're freezing. Come on." He pulls Swen to the bathroom.

Swen made a faint noise of protest and tried to shake off his roomate. “I’m fine! You really don’t have to.”

"I don't mind." He says gently. "Go on. It's a waste of water if you don't."

Swen looked down at the water. It looked very warm. “Er… okay. Thanks.”

He nods and smiles. Nazaki exits the bathroom, pointing to the counter cabinet. "There are towels in there when you're all warmed up. And there's a few bath bombs if you want them." He says before exiting.

Swen nodded and thanked him. He shut the door. He looked around the bathroom, grabbed a couple bath bombs and plunked them in.

Nazaki returned to the pasta, humming happily as he cooked. He grabbed a few spices, before grabbing a glass of water.

Swen happily watched them fizz then stripped. He slipped into the bath with a happy hum.
