"Whichever you require," Krystal replied, noting his slightly worried tone, then returned to the pool, "Now let me show you how it works."

Krystal drew one of her daggers, "Sorry if this seems strange, you can back out at any time, Scarlet."
She then drew the blade across her palm, making a shallow cut, she held her hand over the water and let a few drops of blood fall into the water.
"show me a happy day," she murmured. The water shimmered and the reflection filling it changed.
/A young Krystal ran through the forest, laughing as an older boy with golden brown hair, smiling eyes, and large brown feathered wings chased her through the trees.
“I’m gonna get you Krysa!” he said, laughing along with her.
Krystal laughed and grabbed a branch, swinging up into a tree and leaping from branch to branch.
“Can’t catch me now, Sol!” she cried happily, going higher and higher.
“Oh yeah?” he replied before jumping up into the trees himself. He caught up with her quickly and grabbed her from behind, tickling her.
“Told you I’d always find you, sis,” he laughed as she squirmed away.
She huffed, “someday I’ll have wings, too, then I’ll be faster than you.”
“We’ll see about that,” He chuckled./
The vision ended and Krystal sat back, her eyes wet.
Harry looked around, and went to stand by Scarlet. He hadn't said word, he only nodded when Krystal asked him to swear he wouldn't tell anyone.

"Okay… So, do I have to do the cutting thing?" Scarlet asked worriedly.
Harry scratched his index finger. "You had a brother?" he asked under his breath, but only he could hear it.
"You only need a few drops, like from just pricking your finger, because anything we're looking for only happened in the last 17 years," She explained, wiping away a few tears, "That scene you saw from my childhood occurred a very long time ago, so I needed more blood to resurface it."
She put her hand in the water and it glowed for a moment, then she removed it and held it out to show her fully healed palm. "Besides, as you can see, I can heal whatever wound you receive."
"C-can I try? After Scarlet?" Harry stuttered, looking up.
"Of course," Krystal replied, looking over at him, then turning to Scarlet, "Scarlet, do you still want to look? If you don't, we can find another way to get answers."

Scarlet shook her head, trying to clear it of the doubt that had surfaced. "No, I'm ready to know what's happened to me," she said, sticking out her index finger. "Do it."
(Yay!)
"Alright," Krystal said as she gently took Scarlet's hand, carefully pricking her finger with the tip of her dagger.
As Scarlet's blood dripped into the water, Krystal murmured, "Show us the truth of her magic."
Again the image in the pool began to shimmer and change…

Scarlet walks through the marketplace, purposefully bumping into people in order to discretely swipe their expensive jewelry. She grabs a strange ring; it's silver, twisted around itself into a strange, almost dragon-like, pattern.

She pockets it without looking.
The pool stills once again.
Harry looks at Scarlet questioningly. "Is that it?" he whispered.

Shrugging, Scarlet says, "It must be. But… That was just earlier today."
(hey I know this is super late, but would you consider adding a character? Maybe I could already know Krystal, (I'm some kind of magical being) I need her help so i visit her and accidentally walk into this? I'm so sorry for being late :/)

"Well," Krystal said thoughtfully, "You have to be born with magic, so that ring didn't give you powers. It's possible that you had some sort of suppressing spell on you, hiding your powers, and that ring somehow broke the spell. Do you have the ring with you?"
Mozos stood quietly in the background, he wanted to where this was going.

Scarlet nodded, then pulled it out of her cloak's pocket and handed it to Krystal.
Krystal let the ring fall into her palm, then picked it up with her other hand and held it to the light.
"It looks… familiar, but I don't know why," she said softly, turning it this way and that, "I can feel the magic on it, some sort of spell blocking enchantment."
Still muttering, she slid the serpentine ring onto her ring finger,
and screamed.
Name: Khuzaimah (Kai) Vincio
Gender: Non-Binary, Dragon mages tend to be, too busy learning their craft and they spend too much time in the sky to bother with societies gender norms, also no Dragon-mage is able to conceive a child, and they are a rarity to be born from all kinds of different species. Her/Him=Zir, Ze=She/He)
Age: Ze is a semi immortal being so ze's already pretty old.
Looks: Long chestnut-bronze hair, ze doesnt bother with cutting it often, once every coupl years if ze can get around to it. Ze has grey/green eyes that seem to piece your soul if you look into them for too long. around 5'9. Athletic build.
Personality: Very outgoing and full of love. Ze will do absolutely anything for Zir dragon. Ze can be very panicked if something bad happens to someone ze cares about and this can get in the way of zir logic, but apart from that ze is very logical in mind, but free in spirit.
Wears: Generally loose white tunics and tight grey pants, with warming charms tattooed onto zir body, which ze gets retouched every thirty years. Flexible but warm boots that have good grip. Usually wears zir hair up in a pony tail or braid(s). and depending on if ze feels like it or not, gloves too.
Other: is a Dragon mage. On the night ze was born so was zir dragon, and over the course of zir first 20 years ze was sent to find it. When ze did it was everything ze could imagine and more. Ze spent all zir time with zir dragon, so many years, that by the time ze went back to see zir family they were already onto their next generation, zir sisters and brothers having grandchildren. From time to time ze will go back to the village where ze started to see how zir family is doing, but never for long, for the whole world calls to zir to explore it.
Dragon: Zir dragon (Zikiai) is quiet large for even a dragon, mostly white/grey to blend in with the clouds and snow (where it likes to be most often)
Harry jumped up. As Krystal's screams grew louder, Harry had to cover his ears. With a grunt, he ripped it off her finger and shoved it in her pocket. Using his hand to steady her, he blinked several times, and opened and closed his mouth trying to get his ears to pop. "You okay?" He asked.

Kai walked through the forest heading to the cabin ze knew was hidden somewhere in the trees. Above the foilage ze saw Zikiai gliding watching zir right back. Ze soon found the cabin and walked towards it calling
"Krystal?"
Harry turned. "Who are you?" He asked.
(cool character! Maybe that ring they found had belonged to a dragon mage…?)
Krystal rocked back and forth on the ground, face in her hands.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" she sobbed, "Please, don't leave me."
Kai ran up to zir old friend who was rocking back and forth. Kai ignored the others as ze grabbed Krystal's hands away from her face.
"What is it Krystal, what's happened?"
"They left me, they're gone," Krystal sobbed, trying to wrestle her hands away from zir.
The girl who ran in to the clearing was weird, she seemed normal, but reminded him of a dragon.(edit to fit your posts)
When she didn't reply, Kai shook her
"Krystal! What happened? Whats wrong?!" Ze looked to the others, "What happened?" Ze demanded from the closest one.
