"wanna go to the library?" he asks "i know a quiet corner"
"I'd love to!" She said hauling her computer bag strap on to her shoulder. "Lets go."
"wanna go to the library?" he asks "i know a quiet corner"
"I'd love to!" She said hauling her computer bag strap on to her shoulder. "Lets go."
"oh thanks the stars" he mutters slinging his laptop bag onto his back
"Why are you so excited about leaving?" She giggled, holding the door to the coffee shop open for Avery.
"people mostly, im not favored in my course. im afraid some idiot will see me here"
(howdy-ho I feel asleep. Also @Jump_suit_cover_me(It's_MK) Marcus and Ash could still be friends…like, somehow, I dunno shrugs)
Marcus jumped slightly at the sound of his phone vibrating in his pocket. He sighed and placed his book down again, taking his phone out to check his messages.
FireBoy: dude where are youu??
Marcus gasped quietly, realizing he had totally forgotten about his meetup with Neil.
Sorry! Got caught up at the coffee shop ^-^"
FireBoy: You mean you got caught up in that book again
Hey, if you'd take the time to actually sit down and read it like I've suggested, you'd see why I like it so much
FireBoy: Never. so are you coming or are we just gonna go back to the apartment?
I guess I'll meet you at home. I'm leaving the shop now
FireBoy: cool. See ya in a few.
FireBoy: Love ya, bae ;P ^3^
Marcus grinned and shook his head, deciding not to respond to that. He stood up and fixed his chair, throwing away his empty coffee cup as he headed out the door.
"Oh…" She paused, " I'm sorry to hear that" she looked at the different shops as there walk continued.
"Nah, its cool. 95% of them are asshats anyhow"
She laughed, " I'm glad I'm not one." Her gaze went to the library, "well, here we are, I don't know this library very well, so take the lead Avery."
"you are one lucky gal!" he jokes ""i know this place better then my dorm"
"Ha, that like me with the park."
"wich park?"} he asks leading her to this one quiet corner "i go to this one park to take photos!"
"The Rose park, it's under construction right now, so I can't escape there….they have some interesting plant life there." Solve smiled taking a seat
"Yeah! theres some really good photo places there!" he gushes
"I bet. Though I've never been much into photography." She sighed, taking in the silence and peaceful environment of the library, there will be the occasional screech of a young child with there parents, over excited about the books they found. But other than that the library was quiet.
"its a nice escape"
(um…I'm not sure how to jump in…?)
On his way down the street, Marcus glanced over at the library, seeing a few people walk inside. He knew it was one of the best times of the day to go in there. Not too many people, nice and quiet, the proper place to sit for a minute and read his book. Maybe look for another book or get some work done, too. He looked down at his phone and noted the time, deciding to run in for just a bit, and then he'd go home. Neil wouldn't mind, and if he did, it's not like he'd be upset for long.
"its a nice escape"
"Yeah, it is quite nice"
"mhmm" he murmmers flipping a page
Serina closed her eyes and sighed, basking in the silence. Today was very successful, made a new friend, and school was going all according to plan.
Marcus walked into the library, immediately finding a place near the front to sit. He put his book on the table, then went to see if he could find the next one in the series.
Ash wandered the library shelves, looking for a certain book she wanted to reread. The library was very quiet, the only noise being the faint whispers of those studying and the humming of the lights above her head.
