Her eyes widened and she let out a little shriek when he grabbed her wrist. She fell down right as she stood up. She rubbed her wrist looking down, her hair fell in her face. She looks up at him.
"im so sorry…. please go….."
she said in a weak voise.
(when she was younger she was abused by her drunkard step dad, he grabbed her wrist alot…. but nobody knows that except for Ryuu)
He couldn't stop his face from shattering at her words. "Are you okay?" The words came out in a broken whisper as Maverick stalled for time.

"im sorry…. yeah im fine."
She says snapping back to reality. This boy wasn't her step dad. Hes not going to hurt her.
"Im sorry um…. please don't…. grab my wrist….."
She stands up, fixes her hair and smiles at Maverick.
"lets go"
She looked at the pond, then slipped her shoes on, grabbed her backpack. She pulled the flower out of her hair and puts it in the boys hair. She grabbed his hand and remembered something.
should I ask him? is he sensitive to touch?
"Can I grab your hand?"
that was a weird thing to ask.
The words locked in his mind as he realized what she said. Note to self: Don't grab her wrist. He debates pressing her but came to the conclusion now was a very bad time.
The flowers in his hair were cute, he decides, and like the sap he was, Maverick planned on keeping them there the entire day. To hell what anyone else thought. The boy beams at CC, offering an open hand in reply.

She grabs his hand and smiled. She pulls him and runs to the school every now and then looking back at him. Her white hair seems like its almost jumping in the wind.
he didn't see anything, he didn't hear anything, nothing happened. Im this happy girl, that makes other people happy… not.. this.
She was holding in tears, but shes not going to let Maverick see that.
He squeezes her hand, a lighthearted laugh floating between them. Reminding himself to inquire about the whole wrist situation later, Maverick continues running. "We're so late," he pants, eyes sparkling.

They reach the cafeteria where only a few people remained. Including Ryuu. He looked at the two, then their hands.
His heart drops. He puts that thought away. Her eyes are red. He runs up to her not paying attention to Maverick.
"are you alright?" He said as he looks at her wrist. Its red.
He sharply looks at Maverick and grabs his arm.
"what the hell is wrong with you."
Ryuu didnt like to use "vulgar" words but he was infuriated.
"look he didnt know okay?"
CC said now letting go of Mavericks hand. She grabs her red wrist and just covers it up although she knows its useless.
"please let go of him he didnt do anything."
She pleaded.
Ryuu tightened his grip then suddenly let go. He was obviously angry. Someone he'd known for so long, that he loved, had been hurt. He wouldnt let that slide any time soon. Ryuu looks down at him a scowls.
"You EVER hurt her, I'll hurt you so bad you'd wish i would've just killed you."
He walks away. He had no idea where that came from. Hes an incredble sweet guy, that wouldnt even hurt a fly.
But the fact that someone had hurt Seo Hyeon, hes enraged to say the least.
His mind flashes back to a memory of Him and CC, standing in the dark. It was the day he found out about her step dad.
She told him to promise her that he'd protect her. She must've forgot…..
He switched back to reality and walked down the hallway and into the classroom.
"look im sorry…. hes protective….."
CC looked at Maverick……
"i dont think you should get involved with me….. its dangerous."

Maverick lets out a derisive snort, silently wishing for the boy to never return. Turning back to CC, he lulls, "I don't care about his threats. I won't judge you for him…"
Piercing green eyes flash with something akin to jealousy, before a child-like voice emerges Maverick. "Was he…" his facade cracks, struggling for words. "Ever involved with you?" No matter how confident Maverick built himself to be, he can't hide the threatened gleam in his eyes.

"like…. involved how?"
She felt so bad. She wanted to be friends with Ryuu in the school from the moment she saw him. But alas, she knew… it couldn't happen. He's to emotional for her, she can't handle it. For she's to emotional herself, she needs someone to care for her… emotionally. He just wasn't the one…. which made her sad but she had to face the facts. He's sweet but,,,, not for her

"The way he protectively buzzes around you makes it appear that he's your ex or something," Maverick states bluntly. Shoes scuffle against the cafeteria floor, littered with wrappers and small stashes of food.

She hesitated, then said in a small voice
"it still hurts a little…"
She smiled at him like nothing had happened. Then her eyes widened…
"say…. do you want to skip? I mean ive never done it before but…. I kinda want to…"
Imperceptibly Maverick's eyes narrowed at her small voice, but again, he decides to investigate further at another time. Meanwhile, the boy stares at the girl, slightly dumbfound at her request. "And here I was, taking you for a good girl who didn't want to be late to classes," he marvels, a slow smile creeping up his profile. "I was gonna subtlety show off your flowers to the student body, too."

She leaned closer

She winks at him, but then turns away and sighs dramatically.
"oh well, I don't want to keep you from getting education. You can go…."
She runs her fingers through her silky hair, the dim room making it seem grey.
She turns around "pouting" again. Her arms crossed, he lip out, and her eyes big. Her hip swayed to the side as she turned to face him another time.
"Oh I feel so bad"
She says sarcastically.
"Distracting you…."
She whips out yet ANOTHER flower and smirks mischievously at him. Its a white glowing flower, like the one he picked earlier after their first encounter. The room was dark yet her eyes shined through the darkness. Like an angel in disguise.
The smile toys on his mouth at CC's antics. One mood after another, blurring by so quickly he had a hard time catching up at times. "You are quite a distraction on your own," the boy acknowledges, eyes flicking between her enthralling irises and the flower she twirls. The bell rings, harsh and zapping their comforting silence. Maverick doesn't move an inch.

CC does a cute little jump as the bell rings. She looks out the window, at the droplets of rain on the window. Then at him.
The dreamy boy with the green eyes that flirts nonstop, that gives off the vibe that makes you want to just kiss him.
He twirls the flower in her hand then instead of putting in his hair, she sticks it in her own hair, sticking out her tongue a tiny bit.
Once she does she grabs the tie of his uniform as she smiled.
The rain started to pour, with a constant pattering on the window. She gets so caught up in just the thought of him,
she ignores every little thing around them.
In her eyes, it was just him… and her, in their own little world, staring into each others eyes
Mavericks breath hitches, barely daring to breathe when she wrapped her hand around his tie. Black specks are peppered in her cloudy irises, a mere inch away from his own. Their noses are a hair away from each other, him towering over CC.

Her face suddenly turns red, she lets go of the his tie, she touches his cheek as she walks away towards the entrance, her hand sliding off of his cheek. She walks away, feeling bad about skipping class, but she's not going to let that stop her.
"Go to class Mave"
She smiles to her self humming while walking away. Probably from another anime.
Cute. Her cheeks still tinted pink despite all the confidence displayed. And then ‘Mave’. She had given him a nickname, and a warm indescribable feeling rushed through his beating heart. Trailing to class, the boy hopes she finds her flower.

CC was a little disappointed that he didn't follow her but at the same time, she didn't want to be a distraction to him.
"dangit that nickname was stupid…… i shouldve come up with a better one" She skipped in to sidewalk. Butterflys started twirling around in her stomach.
"itll grow on me though….."
She stops skipping
what if he didnt like it….. did he think it was annoying or offensive?
She looks back and feels really bad…. shes not a bad person who skips classes…. shes always on time if not early!
She turned around and quickly ran into the hallway, she burst through the door. All of the students eyes turned to her. Her hair was crazy, breathing harshly. She looks at the teacher then Maverick. She bows to the teacher breathing fastly still.
"죄송합니다! 제발 용서해 주세요."
She accidentally says in korean instead of Japanese, she realizes the teachers confusion….
"本当にごめんなさい!許してください。"
She corrects herself, then sits down in the beck. Hopefully no one would notice her.
"それは起こらない"
the teacher continues as if nothing happened. She looked a Maverick a giggled a little then put her finger to her mouth
"SHH" She winks at him

Lighthearted, Maverick wanders next to CC, occasionally slowing down for her as she stops to admire plants and wait on several animals that gather around. His smile blooms in the sun, eagerly anticipating the moment she'll find her flower conveniently lying outside dorm room 12A. Every now and then, the boy prods her forward with a gentle nudge, adjusting the strap on his shoulder.

CC find it a little odd yet somehow cute as he just follows her around like a puppy. She decides to actually talk to him…. So suddenly stands up and turns around, being alot closer than she anticipated but she was fine with it. She poked his nose with the tip of her finger and smiled.
"so do you like the nickname Mave?"
She asked him curiously. She stood there, backed away a bit, tilting her head like a puppy when it sees a treat. She turned around before he could answer.
"because I didn't know if you would like it or not…. I'm sorry I can change it if you want. "
She turned around whipping her hair in his face.
"I love the nickname," he admits truthfully, a blotch of pink spreading through his cheeks. "I've never been referred to as anything less than Maverick, it's a first." He shrugs, taking a side-glance at the girl who loves flowers in her hair and animals in her arms. "I think you'll be making many firsts," the boy claims, innuendo not seeping into his voice, for once.

The girl lets out a relieved sigh and smiles. She yawns then sets the animal down. She looks up at him, and smiles once again.
"well before I go to bed…. May i?
She holds out her hand to the boy.
"I told you my name. Now where's my flower, pretty boy. "
She looks at his eyes, her white eyes slowly gaze down to his lips. She looked at them as the corner of his mouth curves up, like they usually do. Her eyes refocus on his green eyes.
He pretends to have forgotten, silently leading her to her dorm as an apology. "Sorry, pretty girl." A smirk slips on his face as he exits the hallway. "Good night." He stays around the corner, peeking to see her reaction when she'll notice the white rose at her door.

CC looks at him leave. She puts her back against the wall and slides down and sighs. She looks at the ground and sees the flower. She picks it up and smiles to herself.
"why you-"
She giggled at herself. She stands up and looks around, the she slowly puts it in her hair smiling to herself. She couldn't help it.
"I should've known"
She twirls her hand making a flower appear in it. She smiles to herself. She opens her door, humming to herself happily.
Her hair flows in the door way, and of course….. it gets caught on the nail in the door.
"ah darn"
She says as she untangles it once again. She throws the flower out of the dorm landing on the floor as she shuts it.
She lays on her bed and smiles, looking at the flower Mave left for her.
"What in the world is happening?"
She says to herself
