Modern day "Monsters" / Open

Ava had spent the last 30 minutes trying to make the tiny apartment presentable. The apartment is clean but it was really small so it seemed cluttered. The furniture was cheap and second hand but they were still in decent shape. the coffee table did have a burn mark from that time she got really mad at something on the tv.

Nyx knocked on the wood door, his hands full from his bag and a few boxes

ava went and opened the door "Hey, welcome!" she said stepping aside so he could walk in. "do you need any help?"

"Im good!" he said his voice muffled by a box "where can i put this?" he asked

"Ummm just set them on the coffee table for now so I can show you around,"

He seet the boxes down as he looked around "this place is pretty nice!" he comented

"thanks to it's not much. I guess I should show you around," she walked over to the kitchen "so this is obviously the kitchen. / I don't know how to cook but if you do feel free to." she said smirking.

"well im not a good cook, but expect some sweet treats" he laughed

ava chuckled "ok so you'll have the room across from mine. unfortunately, we have to share a bathroom."

"thats fine i grew up with 3 sisters" he chuckeled as he remebered that

"ok good that means you know to put the toilet seat down, my last roommate didn't. he also kept flirting with the girls I brought home, he was a jerk."

"nah, im gay" he stated

"great! more girls for me," she said smiling. "you can bring your stuff into your room if you want, do you need help?"

"Okay," she said. she went into the kitchen and grabbed a Pepsi "do you want a soda?"

Creed gestured for Feyre to follow her, and started leading her to The Meadow. "The Meadow is a safe place where we can talk." She said, leading them through the streets.

"sure, do you work anyplace?" he asked

ava handed him a Pepsi "yeah I work at the public library," she said. (I guess I didn't give her any actual hobbies so I'm going to pretend her like books)

"cool, so what do you do for fun aound here?"he asked

"Well, there isn't much to do. there are a lot of bars but I'm under 21 and never got around to getting a fake ID. So I can't really tell you how good they are. but this is a college town so there are a lot of parties," she said smiling over at him. "what about you though? I mean like do you have a job?"

"tattoo parlor, remeber?"

"oh yeah sorry. I don't know where my mind is today. anyway did you bring your snake or are you going to bring it another time?"

"Cool! whats his name?" she asked. she was getting nervous but wouldn't let it show on her face. of course her powers knew of her emotions and her hands started to warm up.

"Morte" he said smiling

"Nice," she said before putting down her soda can. she hadn't realized that she left a burn mark in the shape of a hand.

"whoa are you okay?" he said noticing the burn mark

Ava followed his eyes and saw that he was looking at the can. "shit oh um yeah that happens sometimes," she muttered. "anyway do you want to order something for dinner?" she said quickly, trying to change the subjects.
