I'm talking vampires who take selfies but don't show up in the photo. I'm talking werewolf veterinarians. I'm talking mages. Islands or cities that float /in the air/. I'm talking mythical creatures—-selkies and sea monsters and nymphs—-but in the modern world, with modern jobs and relationships and where magic is the norm!
Let's bring this world of modern magic to life.
Rules:
- no personal biases and grudges and drama (PLEASE NO PERSONAL DRAMA). No racism. No sexism. No ageism. No classism. No LGBTQIA+ phobias. No religion phobias.
- drama between characters is fine, just remember that everyone has control of their own character and you can't just say stabs vampire 37 times in the chest and expect them to be okay with it and die. They will kill off their character if they wanna.
- be literate!!! That means complete sentences, and preferably more than one. No asterisks (), like when people do this: *smiles claps dances violently
- language is fine, but try to limit f bombs as much as possible, 'kay?
- if you'd like, bring some diversity to the table! I welcome all sexualities, nationalities, ethnicities, body types, sexes, religions, genders, ages, and more.
- be original!
- introduce your character in parentheses right off the bat: name, age, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexuality, and race (vamp, human, orc, sprite, nymph, etc.)!
- be kind! (I cannot stress this enough)
