"Ok you can sit back down." He said smiling

Jayson walks into class late yet again, then he happens to see Max and his eyes light up instantly. Jayson smiles awkwardly but in a friendly way to Max, while waving shyly to catch his attention, he slowly walks to the back with caution (since he's late and feels the student's eyes on him). Then like reeaally awkwardly sits in the desk beside him. "Heya there, can I sit beside you? W-well…" He says, seeing that he's already sitting beside him. "Kinda late for permission huh?" He laughs a bit silently not to draw attention. "I just hope I'm not bothering you….and uhh yea! I hope we can be friends, yea?"
Random kid raises his hand "W-What was that?" He said laughing making fun of him, he high fives his friends.

Jayson snaps his head in the direction the voice came from, then silently stands up. "I'm sorry what did you just say?" He says in a threatening manner.
Katherine stands up "Don't make fun of him you jerk!" She said giving the random kid the death stare.
"You c- can s- sit here" Max hears what the kid says and just looks down wishing he brought his sketchbook with him

Jayson looks over at Katherine and smiles a bit then sits down "Woah, I guess my interjection wasn't needed huh, pretty nice of her to stand up for him" He thinks
The random kid turns away from Katherine and Jayson "Sorry…" He says quietly.

"You c- can s- sit here" Max hears what the kid says and just looks down wishing he brought his sketchbook with him
Jayson smiles at him "yea sure cool, thanks man"
smiles a little and looks up
Katherine see's Jayson smile at her and she couldn't help but smile back.
-The bell rings for the next class–
"Hey Max wait up!"
"Hm?"

"Wanna skip class and hangout?"
"N- no. I- it's my f- first day. "
"It's fine cmon." She said smiling hoping he will say yes.

When the bell rings, Jayson fumbles all over the place, trying to cram everything in his backpack, then he walks out, seeing that Max did just a while ago and heads to his next class
"N- no"
turns on my heals and walks to my locker to grab my sketch book and heads to class
"Whatever." She said skipping class.

Jayson walks into his next class. Art class and oooh boooy was this going to be a struggle since he couldn't draw that well, but his brother had insisted he take it, so here he was, about to make a complete fool of himself for the rest of the year
