"okay students, today we will begin introductions. Who would like to go first?" the teacher asked

Eris instantly put her head down,so teacher wouldnt notice her.

"I might as well get this done as soon as possible. Hi, my name is Aislin, but I prefer Lin. I use they/them pronouns." They said in their Irish accent whilst smirking.

"what monster type are you?" the teacher asks kindly

"I'm not human that's for sure, my human form is just…subtle. Just wait till I get too nervous and my tail or my ears pop out. At least it'll make this class funnier," Elaine whispered to the girl as the teacher began to speak.

Eris smiled.
"I am half human half phoenix, usually turn into monster when Im mad"

"whos next?" the teacher calls out

onyx stands up "hi, im Onyx, uh im a spirit" he says as his hand loses its physical form from nervousness

"Oh, I'm a pixie by the way."

ill be back in a bit im sick and in need of soup//

"I'm half Tiger, which is no where as amazing as phoenix but I have my perks. Who's monster?" Elaine whispered .

(I'll be back soon as well. I have to go to supper.)

"you wouldnt say that being a phoenix is amazing, if you turned into ash everyday." She whispers with a smirk on her face.

"Ash? Ouch maybe not so great. I think that possibly worse than popping out your tail during class," she said smiling, "Perks of being us."

"Oh well…"
Erin started liking this girl. Maybe she will have friends?..

"Yep," Eliana smiled. She was hoping they would become friends, they seemed to get on well. "How you feel about this place so far?"

Onyx sat down alone and started to read trying to avoid socail interaction

"Confused, weird, scared and umm.. nervous as hell.. Fine i guess.." she smiles.
"no, its not that bad, just.. its new"

"I completely understand you, I'm so nervous I think there's a while zoo in my stomach." Eliana nodded. She was trying her best to control her ears from popping out.

"well at least i wouldnt judge you" she scoffs.
"Should one of us go next?"

"oh well."
She stood up.
"i-i am Eris uhh.. Jackson. im 16, and im half human half phoenix.." she mumbles the last word.

""You got this," she whispered to Eros.

Eris sat down quietly, while breathing heavily.
"Welp.. your turn.."

"Yeah…" Eliana stood. Her nervous grew yet her voice sounded surprisingly uneffected, "My name's Elaine and… um… I'm half Human, half Tiger." As if to prove her point her ears popped out as she could no longer contain her nervousness. They twitched as she udjested to the sudden increase in hearing. A blush crept into her face as she sat back down.

"its not so bad huh…" she tried to cheer her up.
"I cant even fake it, my heart is going to stop.." she smiles painfully.

Eliana couldn't help but smile despite still being bright red, " Oh that didn't go as planned did it?" Her tiger ears still refused to go.

"not exactly, but better than mine..you couldnt hear a word i said"
She silently bangs her head against the table.

Lin looked at them with a kind smile. "Hey, don't worry, you did great, both of you."
