Murder Mystery Style RP - 7/10 people

Just some ground rules to start off:

• keep it PG-13, please
• try and use the following format for a quick character profile so that everyone can get a basis of who your character is and where they fit. (but you can use whatever format you like):

• try to keep swearing to a minimum if possible.
• no irl hate. Being rude/unkind in character is okay, to an extent.
• no racist/homophobic/sexist/etc slurs or comments
• be respectful of others' ideas for the story. It won't work if you reject others' ideas (unless they're inappropriate or you feel uncomfortable with them)

Side note: fantasy and stuff like that are cool. It doesn't have to be super realistic.

Background of the story:
The group of characters have been staying in a small hotel/guesthouse. One morning they wake up to find a dead body in the central common room.

All doors and windows are locked, so they can't get out. A note pinned to the tells them that one (or more) among them is the murderer/s and that until they figure out who it is and successfully stop them, the murderer/s will continue to kill people.

Personality: looks like a cinnamon roll but could actually kill you; would die for her friends (or pretty much anybody); Ravenclaw; chaotic good; is really kind and trusting to everyone (unless they seem majorly untrustworthy)
Other: she can rap/sing all of Lafayette/Jefferson's part in the entirety of Hamilton (the musical); has the ability to manipulate shadows (but can't use her ability for long or she faints)

Other: He's a member of something just known as "The Legion", a group of people who have been known to do a lot of illegal things. His dagger can do basic magic like unlocking doors, and he can't be hurt by any other members of The Legion.

Other: He ran away from his parents and is hiding in the hotel with completely different looks. He can shapeshift into animals and change his attributes but it tires him out and he can't hold the form for longer than a day.

Other: She has a connection with the water and can control it, but not form it from nowhere; sometimes a Hufflepuff, sometimes a Gryffindor, sometimes a Slytherin, never a Ravenclaw; loves drawing and painting

Other: She has another side, darker side that no one knows about. Even she doesn't know about. She everyone thinks she is normal.

Question: WH ois the killer

Clara woke up to an announcement over the hotel's PA system:

"Attention all guests. There has been… an incident. Please move to the common room immediately."

She blinked sleepily and climbed out of bed, quickly changing into jeans and a red jumper. She picked up her backpack and room keys and walked down the stairs - she had never trusted elevators since the incident in LA - to the hotel common room.

Vaiana pulled herself out of the hotel pool after an early morning swim after the announcement. She walked into the change rooms, got changed and walked to the common room.

Penelope rolled in her bed after being disrupted by a voice echoing through her room. "Omg. Does anyone know what beauty sleep is!" She rolled out of bed and walked into the bathroom and had a shower. Then she started her makeup routine and then got dressed in a cute cropped shirt and short denim shorts.

Could penelope be he murder. Her darker side could do it. (I updated my character profile)
