Dani walked to the shelf, scanning for something helpful
Lizzy ran her hand across the spines of the books, looking for something that might help them. So far there were some books, she grabbed them and made a pile on the table. SHe gestured towards it " Look in there, there might be something helpful."
She sighed as she plopped in the wooden chair and opened up a thick book. * It's not like I have anything else to do.* She thought to herself as she started to quickly skim through the pages of the book.
Calypso nosed a book over to Lizzy. "Could you open this?"
( Wait is she a deer or something?)
(She's a peryton, which is a winged deer.)
Dani sat at the table and grabbed five books, making a pile near her
She grabbed the first one and started reading it
It was a book about the Nishla Taeso
( Oh thanks, makes more sense.)
There wasn't anything in her book, so she took Calypso's and started flipping the pages, skimming the words as she read. " Is this thing rare or important?" She asked. There wasn't anything about it so far.
"Depends on which thing we're talking about. The Amulet or the Nishla Taeso!"
“The amulet of Ticiya is said to grant any one wish if anyone who wears it” She said, not breaking from her book “I don’t know much about the Nishla Taeso, but this book is about it, so we should learn something”
" So what do you need it for?" Lizzy asked as she went over to where Dani was and looked over the book with her. " And whats this about what is it the Nishla Taco?"
"The Nishla Taeso! It's a legendary place said to appear in the forest every decade or so!"
“I wonder what it has to do with the amulet…” Dani wondered aloud, completely focused on her book
"It's one of the possible places it could be!"
" Ohhhhhhhh I think you mean the Plussimel, at least it's what we elves call it." She exclaimed as she rushed over to another book shelf and pulled off an ancient book. " Here, this one is all about it."
Dani nodded uncommittedly, eyes scanning the page before noticing something odd. A jumble of scribbles, that seemed to be In a pattern… ‘a language? I don’t recognize it though….’
Calypso leaned over the book.
" Duh it's elvish." She rolled her eyes and said. " Here I will translate it for you."
The Plussimel is a great lake that only appears once a decade. Legend says that it's waters hold magical properties, however it is guarded by the guardian of the Lake who will attack ruthlessly. No one who has ever ventured there returned.She took a breath and continued. * Along with the Lake, magical creatures appear with it and the Amulet of Ticiya is said to only appear over the Plussimel every full moon.* She finished
"WOw! Cool!" Calypso flapped her wings in excitement.
Dani nodded “when Is it scheduled to appear next?”
‘I’ll just wait till it’s full moon in however many years. I don’t care if I have to wait 50 or even a hundred years, I’m getting that amulet’
