Not Broken, Just Bent. (Hospital/Asylum Soulmate RP)

Blake stared at Axel's prosthetic. He wondered what had happened. Maybe he had been in an accident too. Blake met Axel's frustrated face, "Trust me, that line doesn't work. I have tried everything to get out of this."

Axel nodded in agreement, noticing the boy's gaze shift towards his prosthetic. He didn't care anymore. Everyone stared at it no matter what. "I tried to stab my nurse with a syringe. Apparently that doesn't work either and will land you in this place," He sighed, motioning to the entire room.

Luka took a seat next to a boy with a prosthetic, and tried his best not to look at anyone. If he didn't strike up a conversation, there was no way he'd be noticed if he randomly fell asleep.

Blake laughed dryly. "I swear these nurses are invincible." He leaned in closer to Axel's chair and whispered sarcastically, "So what, you stab people with needles for fun?"

Lydia started down at the floor nervously playing with her hands, she didn't want to be in this room full of other kids, the nurse said it'd be fun, but she wasn't having fun. She glanced around the room, all these people were like her though, maybe it's worth it. She cracked her knuckles and relaxed a bit, she leaned back in her chair and sighed.

''This is going to be fun.'' she muttered to herself.

Appearance: Dyed purple hair in waist-length marley twists, dark brown eyes but sometimes she wears gray colored contacts, medium skin with golden undertones, septum piercing, really resembles Amandla i forgot her last name, average height, mostly flat chest but wide hips, pear shaped, strong.
Personality: Extremely creative, expressive, passionate, and loud. Chill and spontaneous, friendly towards everyone. However, there's a much different side of her due to the fact that her parents were alcoholics. When she feels weak or threatened, she'll be snappish, combative, ready to fight, and rude. She really is a gentle and creative soul, broken by her parents and the drugs she takes to numb the pain.
Reason for why they're in the hospital: She has a severe drug addiction, along with anger issues.
Backstory: Her parents used to be loving and gentle towards her. Her mother was a painter, and her father a construction worker. Unfortunately, her father was killed in an accident. Her mother, desperate to make ends meet, married again. Her stepfather started off being a nice person who seemed to genuinely want to take care of them, but soon he began to mooch off of their money and use it to buy alcohol. Eventually both her stepdad and her mother were alcoholics, and her stepdad was verbally abusive and racist towards them. One night, Lana had enough and OD'd on drugs. She was sent here.
Quirks: Doodles on her hands a lot, looks sad and distant when spaced out.
Other: Has a secret stash of drugs that even the doctors don't know about.

Blake laughed dryly. "I swear these nurses are invincible." He leaned in closer to Axel's chair and whispered sarcastically, "So what, you stab people with needles for fun?"

"I just stab people if they bother me," Axel answered quietly, shrugging in addition to his response as a rare smile tilted the corners of his lips upwards.

Rehab group. Rehab for what? Lana rolled her eyes at the thought as she headed into the crowded room. Their blank-faced stares were chilling. How much were these kids on, anyway? She gazed around, her lips puckered, twirling at the ends of her twists. She wished she were anywhere but here.

The feeling of sleepiness started to dawn upon him. Luka excused himself for a moment and started heading towards the door, until he fell asleep and crashed onto the floor. Oh. . . that's gonna leave a bruise.

Blake leaned away from axel. He couldn't tell if the boy was joking or serious. Blake darted his eyes around the room, tensing up a little. He was reminded how out of place he was here. "I need to get out of here," he whispered under his breath.

"Oh, sh*t!" Lana jumped as some kid collapsed at her feet. "Are you okay? Oh my God. Someone help!" She crouched near him, trying to see if he was even breathing. He went down pretty hard.

The moment Luka fell to the floor, Blake leapt out of his chair. "Someone call the doctor!" He remembered how scared and out of control he felt during his seizures as he knelt down to shake Luka by the arm.

Miles slowly and quietly walked into the room. After he walked in he instantly went over to a corner and watched the people.

(aannd we skip two minutes to Luka waking up)

"Crap." Luka slowly sat up, rubbing his head. "I didn't make it out the door, did I?" Did he have a concussion? Oh man, his nurse would freak.

Blake leaned away from axel. He couldn't tell if the boy was joking or serious. Blake darted his eyes around the room, tensing up a little. He was reminded how out of place he was here. "I need to get out of here," he whispered under his breath.

Axel raised a brow at the incoherent words that the boy said, but he shook his head faintly, letting it go. At the sound of someone crashing to the ground, his immediate reflex was to stand up, but he couldn't. The prosthetic weighed him down, keeping him from moving. And all the shouting of the nurses made him freeze. It's not the bombs. It's okay. It's okay.

"You didn't make it anywhere near the door," Axel explained, brushing a lock of curly hair behind his hear. He immediately cursed himself for being sarcastic. "But, are you okay. . .?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. It happens sometimes. Trust me, I didn't faint." Luka laughed. A dry, humorless laugh. "I'm not a damsel in distress. Usually."

Blake helped him up. "Fooled me bro."

"I'm Lana, by the way," Lana mentioned. "Who are you? And what's your problem?"

Ouch. That was a bit insensitive. "My problem? I like to think of it more as a. . . specialty. At least, that's what my nurse tells me." His voice was like stone against stone, rough and jagged.

"Right, right, your specialty," Lana said impatiently. "Sorry. I don't really sugarcoat. Not trying to be mean or anything. I'm messed up, too."

Axel looked up at the boy who had fallen, studying him silently as he listened to what he was explaining. A specialty? That's a good way to look at it.

Blake looked around the small stark white room. It seemed that they were alone. There were no doctors, nurses, or orderlies. Blake walked over to the door they had come in and roughly tugged at the handle. Yep, locked. Just as he thought.

Luka stood up, brushing himself off. "That was the worst way to introduce myself to all of you guys. Forget this ever happened?" He cracked a smile.

"I'll attempt to erase it from my mind," Axel commented, leaning back against his wheelchair. "Too bad you guys didn't get to see me walk by myself on this bad boy. I would have been on the ground too." He said, motioning to his prosthetic as he chuckled lightly.

Blake turned back to Luka from the door. "Ah… we have bigger problems to worry about. Why would they lock us in here together without supervision?" This was no ordinary group.
