Not Natural (Slight Reboot // PROBABLY CLOSED SO PLEASE ASK // **STALKERS ACTIVATED**)

I'm making a Reboot of this roleplay as it seemed to be really popular, even though it was originally a one-on-one. Now it's open for the rest of the public to join in.

The basic premise of the plot is a group of college students with nothing better to do decide to investigate strange happenings around the town. They slowly begin to learn that these happenings aren't just singularities, but are supernatural singularities crossing over from a different realm.

Let's start our characters off as humans, but they can change to some other species as the story progresses. Like if they get possessed or die and come back (demon/angel/zombie/etc.) or get bitten by something (vampire/werewolf/zombie/ etc.), that can change your character.

I am looking for EXPERIENCED roleplayers who uses PROPER and CORRECT grammar, punctuation, and capitalization when in character. And for the love of all things holy, please don't ever use one-liners–avoid them like the plague. I also expect you to have basic knowledge of supernatural creatures, as this Roleplay will contain many of those. Please ask to join first and if I think you're good enough for this RP (I'm not asking for much) I will allow you to join and post the character template shortly afterward.

Some basic rules in case you're unfamiliar with me:

• Shipping is totally fine, but you have to ask the other person.
• Cursing is totally fine.
• Keep it like PG-14 and if things get heated I'm alright with taking it to inbox.
• LGBTQIA+/SAGA characters are totally allowed and even encouraged.
• Try not to Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu the original character (remember they start off as human college students).
• Don't ever put "develop" in the character sheet
• I don't want to see any Railroading or Discrimination. If I do see anything of that nature you will be kicked immediately.
• If you are going to put something racy or risky, whether in chat, roleplay, or character sheet, please put a TRIGGER WARNING so that others may skip over that part.
• Do not steal or repost another's character. It is their OC, not yours. If I see this happen you will be kicked immediately, no questions asked. They worked hard on that character and if all you can think of is to steal the character under a different name, that's utterly pathetic and really you only have yourself to blame if I kick you for this. Making your own OC is not that difficult.
• Stalkers are totally welcome.
• Follow andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s basic RP rules.
• I take RP grammar, capitalization, and punctuation very seriously. I understand if English is not your first language or you have a small typo here and there, but if I see you excessively using improper roleplay etiquette, it tells me that you really don't actually care about what you're writing or doing.
• I will give several warnings if I see anything I disagree with–usually 3 strikes before I kick you out. However, some of these rules are rather important and require a 1st strike and you are banned from this roleplay. Any repeat offenders of the same thing (ex. discriminating against someone twice for a trivial reason) will be immediately kicked, even if it is your second strike.

Appearance: Long, straight, silky black hair usually up in a short ponytail, hazel/brown eyes, pointed features and slightly round face, tan skin, and calloused hands. Very tall at 6'5" and well-built at 181 lbs and a triangular frame.
Outfit: Usually wears some sort of semi-formal or business attire with a black tie, white long-sleeved collared shirt, black belt and shoes, jeans. Sometimes has a black overcoat with him and has a blue handkerchief and pen inside the chest pocket.
Personality: Quiet and observant to those around him, but to those who know him he is weird, loud, and witty. He comes off as serious, dark, and brooding, but once he opens up to someone he shows them his true colors. Introverted, knowledgeable but kind, gentle, sarcastic/joking, protective, loyal, and honest.

(TRIGGER WARNING FOR BACKSTORY: MURDER, RAPE, CANCER, LOTS OF DEATH)
Backstory: He never really talks about it fully, but he has mentioned some things about traumatic experiences in his childhood and old home. In reality, his father beat him and raped him, his mother, and his older sister on a daily basis until Finley finally snapped and fought back against his abusive father. His sister died in the process, his father is finally in jail, and his mother recently died due to fatal cancer. He's all alone now, off in a college far away from his past.

Other: He really likes to sculpt and craft and create things with his hands. He also likes writing letters dedicated to his deceased sister about things going on in his life. He has a shrine in his apartment for his mother and sister. Speaks English and Japanese fluently.

Appearance: Straight short brown hair with light blue dyed tips, light toned skinned, pale green eyes, stands at about 4'8", lean, and has pretty sharp features.
Outfit: Most days pastel blue pajama pants with some nerdy T-shirt on; if it's cold they wear a baggy black sweatshirt. When they actually care a white tank top, ripped blue jeans, binder, and a denim jacket.
Personality: Constantly tired, (Aka runs on caffeine), 99% done with people, sarcastic, witty, antisocial, quick thinking, intelligent, and doesn't understand how people could not like technology.
Backstory: Can I reveal it as we go along?
Other: Always has carries their laptop with them. The case a an old tattered dark purple bow on it.

(Yeah you can reveal backstory as the story goes. Also before we start I would like to know if anyone would like their character to change species near the beginning, because in the first encounter with supernatural beings that could happen. And to which species will they be changing into? Also please remember that species changing is a slow process for the character, most of the time at least.)

(Ooh can I just be straight up supernatural being? like a Demon or something? OohH a Dragon? I haven't RPed a Dragon in a while…)

(Technically I don't count dragons as supernatural beings; I've only ever seen them used in fantasy. But if you do want to be a dragon, please make them a baby or juvenile dragon. I was hoping to stay with the sort of Supernatural (the show and the genre) type of RP going on already.)

(Please just stick with a normal human in the beginning Emi. You can RP as the main antagonist later into the RP but I would like everyone to start off on the same level.)

(It's alright. I know you're super excited for this but if I let you start off like that, then others would either complain or follow suit without asking me. Maybe once your character is turned/gain power they can join the other side and rise to power to become the main antagonist, like a Demon Lord, once they're done transitioning?)

Appearance: He has long, straight, black hair shaved on the right side and green eyes. He stands 167cm (5'5") tall and has a regular build.He has a diamond-shaped, typical face.
Outfit: Mostly graphic tee shirts and jeans, If he is not wearing tee shirts he will wear collared shirts (Mostly darker colors)
Personality: There's a lot to say about Karis, but the two traits most people enjoy the most are that he's cheerful and courageous. Of course he's also relaxed, faithful and contemplative, but they're often slightly tainted by a mindset of being lazy as well.
His cheerfulness though, this is what he's so well-liked for. Oftentimes people will count on this and his efficiency especially when they need comforting or support.
Nobody's perfect of course and Evan has a fair share of lesser days too. His desperation and cynical nature tend to get in the way, both personally and for others.
Fortunately his courage usually softens the worst of it.
