Midnight quickly put on some black lipstick and eyeshadow, the only pretty thing about her outfit. She slipped on some ugly elf shoes and walked to the party.

Camie smiled. "No problem!" She thought she saw someone at the door so she went over and opened it. "Oh! Hey, Illy! Come in," she said, holding the door open.

"Hey, Midnight!" Camie said, waiting until Midnight was through, then shutting it again for the meantime. "Merry Christmas."

"Good enough! Make yourself at home - food in the dining room and drinks on the island in the kitchen!" Camie replied, giving Midnight the run-down.
"Fun!", she said, running over to grab a Christmas cookie.
Dominic held out a glass with a twinkle in his eye, and a mischievous expression.
“Cherry coke.” he said to the glass. Then as an afterthought, “Blue cherry coke.”
He winked, grinning, and downed the drink.

Camie grinned. She'd frosted the cookies to look like snowmen, decorated Christmas trees, and ornaments and was now glad she'd spent so much time on them.
Illy just gave an awkward smile and wave then walked in. The first thing she went to was the snacks. A bit later she was going to go take some pictures with her camera.

Camie watched everyone enjoy the snacks and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Uh, yeah. It's one of the only things I'm good at." She picked it up and waved it around with a smile. "Do you do it as well?" Illy asked as she stuffed a cookie in her mouth.
“Nah. But I want to get a college degree in cinematography.” He snatched a cookie as well. “Story making is my passion as you might have guessed.”
