He pushed aside some brush, waiting for Peter to catch up "So how did you come to get so much money? Family business or something?

"I have no idea why or how." Peter said and walked with him.
"Wow, ignorant of surroundings as well. Living up to expectations princy."

"Shut up. I am not a prince. And I am not ignorant."
"Really? cuz you look like one, you certainly act like one. The only thing you're missing is your parents being king and queen and bam, you're a prince!"

"well technically if I was a prince they could be dead and also I don't have some princess and happily ever after."
"Not yet. Plus I'm joking." He found the trail from the park.

"Great…" Peter said then looked around at the trail they were on.
"We should be getting to Torrington Wyoming in a mile. Can you make it? or do you need to rest?"

"I can make it. What makes you think I can't? Hmmm? Door knocker."
He shrugged, unfazed "Like I said, Princy." He walked off down the path

"Oh shut it." Peter said glaring.
He laughed lightly "You're fault. You're the one who opened his mouth."

Peter opened his mouth to reply but stopped and stayed quiet.
"haha, now you've got it." He rolled his eyes and pulled his hands above his head casully

Peter stayed quiet not saying anything as they walked.
After what seemed like a half an hour of walking, they finally reached the more populated part of the trails

"Oh great people."
"You don't like socializing either?" He asked, eyeing the hikers

"No not exactly." Peter replied not looking at any hiker.
"head down, eyes away procedure?" he asked, hoping he knew what he meant. "Ignore and be ignored?"

"Yeah. That's what I am hoping." Peter said wanting to remain unnoticed.
He nodded in agreement and pulled his hoodie over his head, hoping to stay unnoticed like Peter

Peter walked with Knox quietly and casually. They walked unnoticed and without anyone minding them a second thought.
"boys? Where are your parents?" A gruff voice said from ahead the trail. A park ranger came over to the two, eyeing them suspiciously "you're not supposed to be this far up the trail without supervision."

"Dude. I'm 17." Peter responded to him in a snarky voice and glared at him. "I believe I don't need my parents permission to be outdoors."
Knox glanced up at Peter and nodded "I'm 16. My brother here thought it'd be fun to hike the harder trails before we left. You know, parental divorce and such." He shrugged "plus, we we're heading home anyways."

"Exactly. Now let us pass and be off. You will get no trouble from us then." Peter said and started pushing Knox forward.
He made his way past the park ranger with a nod in apology and continued down the path "good job, princey. You play the stuck up prick roll pretty well."

"Thabk you very much. It takes years of practice." Peter said jokingly as they walked forward away from the ranger.
