Wow this is strangely touching.

"Meechu…" It said. Tyson shook his head. "No Tyson…." The alien nodded and pointed at itself. "Meechu…"

“You’re Meechu?” Lucille asked, chiming into the conversation.

The tiny alien nodded. Tyson raised his eyebrows. "Ohhhhhhh….nice to Meechu." He glanced back at Lucille.

“I whale smack you.” Lucille muttered, suppressing a laugh.

Tyson turned back to the smol alien. "I'm Tyson and this is Lucille."

“Hi,” Lucille said, waving shyly.

The stretched it's hands out to Tyson. He blinked. "What…."

“Do you shake it?” Lucille muttered.

Tyson squinted. "Oh! I know!" He gently picked the alien up. The alien nodded and rested it's head on Tyson's chest.

“How the heck-wha..?”

He leaned over to her. "It's a baby dude. It's wants to be carried."

“Man I dunno,” Lucille shrugged, “I don’t generally know babies.”

"Well, my mom runs a daycare so I know about these things." He rocked back and forth a little.

“Right.” Lucille said, watching him rock the baby.

Tyson turned at a rustling sound. The two aliens had returned with a third, older alien.

“I’m scared.”

Tyson took her hand with his free one. "It'll be fine." The two aliens let the older one pass. He stood in front of them and eyed. "Why have more come?"

“More?” Lucille asked, ignoring the blush creeping up her cheeks.

"Yes more." The alien nodded.

Tyson shook his head. "We don't know what you're talking about…"

“Were there more humans before us?”

He nodded. "Yes. One."

“Who? Are they still here?!”

"Yes." He turned and gestured for them to follow. "This way."
Tyson gripped Lucille's hand firmer.

Lucille squeezed Tyson’s hand and followed the new alien.

"Oh.." Tyson let the tiny alien down. "I'll see you later Meechu." He stood up and sighed. "Okay come on."
