Dear Diary,
In 6 months time first blue moon since I was 8 will appear. I keep getting night terrors about 3 young girl, a booming voice, something about a blue moon, then a flash of white and it disappears and I wake up. Am I going crazy? My parents seem to think so, why else would they send me to DraginStone Academy?

Kova finished off her entry and turned to her sketchbook where a picture of a distinct wand was drawn. She sighed and flipped it shut and tossed both the black sketchbook and the leather bound diary into her suitcase. She also put in a few essentials before grabbing her messenger bag and making sure the important stuff was there. Her documents, phone, headphones, book, charger, granola bars and water bottle. She nodded once before fixing her snapback and walking downstairs with her stuff. "Hey dad, imma change then come down." She stated, running back upstairs. She put on her skinny Jean's and tank top then shrugged on a hoodie she left unzipped. She looked around her room again and tossed a few more things in her bag. As turned around and rested her hand on the door knob before turning back and looking at her computer desk where her song book and forest guide were sitting. Contemplating bringing them, she sighed ad shoved them in her bag before rushing down the stairs again to see her parents putting her stuff in the car. "See ya mom, I'll be back before you know it." She smiled. Recieving no response from her mother except a distasteful 'tsk' Kova's smile wavered slightly and she silently sat in the car as her father sat in the driver's. "I expect you to be on your best behaviour. DraginStone Academy is a very…." she zoned him out by putting on her headphones and playing a random song. Natural by Imagine Dragons came on. 'how fitting' she thought as the car pulled away.

Kanoa yawned, sprawling out on the hard seat of the public transit bus she was on. Her brother was the only one to see her off, as her mother was off with whichever new guy she was stringing along, and her father was passed out drunk on the couch again. Some song with a heavy bass and long guitar rifts played in her earbuds, drowning out the sound of a chicken clucking two seats away. Ah, the joys of public transit.
