Does anyone want to do a romance one-on-one with me? I'm bored and my other RPs are frozen for a while.

Brooke sat in the corner booth of the coffee shop, sipping her cup of still-steaming hot cocoa. She had her nose buried in one of her favorite books, Eragon, so she didn't notice the few other people milling around her. When the bell above the door rang, though, she looked up, curious as to who else was coming in.

(Oh, it's my turn! Oops. Sorry! Gimme a sec to post something.)

Oh, it's Leon. I wonder what he's up to these days? It's been a while since we talked.

Well you can't just go up and ask him! He'd probably find that really weird!

But…

Nope. Too much socializing.

He's one person! And we already know each other.

Brooke's thoughts raced as she continued to watch Leon from her spot. Realizing that she was staring, she quickly looked down.

(Lol. Most of my characters are bits and pieces of me, so Brooke is basically me but with some changes.)

Crap, he noticed.

Well, I may as well say 'hi' now.

Nope! That'd be even stranger because you were just caught staring at him.

Would you just shut up?!?

Brooke groaned silently at her own thoughts and tried to go back to reading her book.

Brooke felt someone's gaze on her, so she lifted her head to see who was looking at her. It was Leon. Her gaze quickly dropped back to her book.

Now he's looking at me?

Okay, now you can go talk to him.

She slowly closed her book, took another sip of her drink, and then stood. With a small sigh, she made her way over to Leon.

"Hey, Leon! How're you?" she greeted him.

"I'm pretty good," Brooke replied, giving him a small smile. Her gaze flicked down to his book for a moment. "Is that a good book?"
