Thalia cursed in her mind as she frantically pulled on her hero outfit. Something was going on outside and she needed to check it out. She pulled on her shoes and her bask and rushed outside, trying not to be seen when she spotted her nemesis.

The Demon just finished feeding off someones energy. She dropped the police officer to the ground, him immediately falling onto the ground. She felt so much better after that. After that Thorn began to think of a way to get Supernova out of the was so she feed easier. She found the trap door behind the oldest building in town and began to head into the catacombs. She had started using them as her hide out a while ago.
“Maybe I can lure her into the one of the cells down here.“ She thought as she walked for a bit through out the maze.

Thalia froze as she saw the policeman fall to the ground and quickly ran over to him and crouched down. His body was cold and still. I've got to catch her.. She thought to herself. Shes hurting innocent people! Without a second thought she took off running in the direction that The Demon left in.

Thorn smiled as she realized Super nova was following her. A quick peek into her mind told her that it was her and not a random civilian. She began to trail her bloodied hand along the wall to leave her a trail. It was from when she had knocked the police officer out. It did add a very nice yet creepy touch though.

When Thalia finally tracked her, she found a bloody trail along the wall. A shiver traveled down her spine as she followed it nervously. This must be that police officers blood, she guessed, trying to shake off the fear, when finally she made it to where The Demon was.

Thorn eventually got to the room with all the cells in it. She leaned casually in a corner of the room. It was so dark in the room that you could hardly see more than a foot ahead of you. Thorn knew this would make Supernova uneasy, seeing that it would be hard for her to manipulate light down here.

"You're a monster," Thalia said lowly. "How dare you harm innocent people?" She stepped forward boldly, though she was nervous and full of fear. There was no way she could use her power down here. She would have to rely on her fighting skills, which weren't very good in the dark.

“Because how else am I supposed to survive.“ Thorn said as she walked toward her. She grabbed a hold of Thalias mind, making her unable to move. “And you’re getting in the way.“ She growled.

Thalia tried to scream but nothing escaped her throat. She tried desperately to move, just one inch, one centimeter, but nothing. All she could do was look fearfully at The Demon.

Thorn began to make Thalias body into the cell. “Stop screaming.“ She muttered. She could hear her screaming on the inside.

She stopped, though she still felt the urge to. She tried to fight back but still couldn't make herself move. Finally, she gave up, hoping that she wouldn't kill her.

Thorn shut the cell door behind. She contemplated if she should drain her but came up with a better.
"How long," She said aloud. "Do you think it would take you to break if I left you in this cell to rot?" She asked, a smile creeping across her face.

Thalia froze up, her chest tightening. Fear enveloped her. Here, it was The Demon's territory. There was no way for her to fight back. She didn't answer, heart pounding.

Thorn released her mind grip on her. "Humans need company," Thorn murmured. "Theyre crazy without it. You hate me so much, you'd rather i just leave you here, hm?" The Demon turned to face them, head tilted slightly with a questioning look.

Thalia almost said something, but stopped herself. Yes, she did hate her, but she definately didn't want to be alone. Being alone in a completely quiet and dark place would drive her insane, but she couldn't manage to say anything. Instead she simply shook her head.

“What do you think that would be like? Being trapped in a small cell with nothing but your mind to entertain you and absolutely no one would know your down here. How does that sounds?“ She asked with a small laugh at the end.

“Wanna bet on that sweetheart?“ Thorn asked leaning on the bars to the cell. “Either way I need to get back home soon.“ She said as she walked towards the exit. “Oh! And there is no point in screaming. No one will here you.“

"No!" She cried, running to the bars and grabbing them, panic falling upon her. "Please, don't leave me here!"

Thorn turned back to her with a smile. “Don’t worry! More than likely what will happen is I’ll wait until I need energy and come back to feed on you.“ She said as she walked out.

Thalia slunk down onto her knees, pressing her forehead against the cold bars. I can't even save one person, she thought shamefully. I let myself be lured down here and now tons of people are going to die. I can't do anything about it. She tried one last time to use her power, but nothing happened. I'm sorry, she said silently.

Thorn exited the catacombs and began to head home. It was nice not having the feeling that the superhero was following you. She slipped into the apartment. She knew most of the time Thalia got home later than her so hopefully she would have some time. She changed and washed up before changing back into her regular clothes. Thalia still wasn't home. She was usually back by this hour. Thorn brushed it off as her having to work late or she missed the bus.

Thalia sighed, trying to summon her power. Faint light appeared from her hands but quickly burned out. She had to escape, she had to…but how? She tried shaking the bars of the door, which she could barely see, but they wouldn't budge. She lay on the cold hard floor, staring up at the ceiling, trying to fall asleep, but she couldn't shake the feeling that she kept hearing sounds in the darkness. Shuddering, she clenched her eyes closed.

A few more hours ticked by and Thorn began to get worried. She knew about the bad things that went on in the streets of (pick a city name) especially since she had taken part in most of it. She had already texted and called Thalia about a million times but no response. She began to get worried. She would never admit it aloud but she had began to get a small crush on Thalia. She huffed and got changed back into her outfit. She had to go looking for her.

It felt like days had passed, but it had only been a few hours. Thalia's cheek was pressed against the concrete floor. She had tried desperately to sleep but was haunted by visions of her lying dead and rotting in this cold cell, worms crawling in and out of her body. A few hot tears dropped from her face onto the floor and she curled up, holding her knees to her chest.

Thorn headed to the streets. She first checked her work, then all her classes, then the ways she walked home, her other friends houses, her favorite places, every bus stop she would be at. There was no sign of her. Thorn headed home defeated.
Thorn began trying to reassure herself that she had gone to her parents, or was staying at a hotel with someone, not dead on the streets. She settled into bed. She laid there for hours, just thinking. She could never sleep after a recent meal.
She thought about Thalia, Supernova, what would be happening out on the streets now, what would happen to anyone if they hurt Thalia, what to do with Supernova, Supernovas identity. She began to feel her self drifting off ever so slightly. She promised herself that once she woke up she would pay a visit to figure out who she was. She wanted to see the real fear on her face. She smiled at the thought as she drifted off.

Morning came, though Thalia wasn't able to tell the difference due to the lack of windows and light, and she pulled herself off the hard concrete floor with a groan. Her neck and back ached, and she placed one hand on the back of her neck, rubbing it. " Ughh.." she groaned, standing up and stretching through the pain. Her stomach growled ravenously. She hadn't eaten since the morning before. This is it, she thought to herself. Im going to start starve down here and die, of she doesn't come and kill me first.

Thorn woke up only about two hours she fell asleep. Technically it was morning. She got up, got dressed and headed outside. It was still early enough that people weren't out so she wouldn't be seen. She began to head into the catacombs. As she navigated her way through the maze she almost began to feel nervous. Why? She eventually got to the room with the cells. She leaned on the opposite wall of the cell.
