Javi winced as he hurried down the street, plastic bag in tow. Witch? Ugh, that was a low blow. And he'd almost made it out of the store before someone noticed, too. Oh well, now was not the time to overthink things. He was almost to the Door. It wasn't the door leading to his clan, sadly, but it was the closest and he'd just have to deal with it. Stumbling over his own feet, he fell headlong into the Door, leading to the Celestial Magic Clan.

(So like a portal to walk from or fall through?)

(Yeah, and there are a few scattered around whatever we're calling the normal people city)

(Ok so so we walk through a portal or is it magically conjured up and we fall through it?)

(lets say walk through but only magical people can see it/go through it)

(What happens when a human walks through it?)

(nothing)

(I don't understand so like is it a permanant portal or like you conjure it up.)

(Permanent…?)

(But if the human walks through it, wouldn't they find the clans then?)

(it doesn't work for humans? it's only visible/usable to magical people)

Astra looked over to where there seemed to be a lot of commotion. As she walked over she saw that a magic user from another clan was there holding some items. "Uh are you ok?" She asked in concern. He seemed a bit anxious and tired out.

Javi blinked at Astra, scrambling to his feet. "O-oh, yeah, I'm okay." He smiled, dusting himself off with his free hand. "I…I bought candy." Suddenly his daring quest felt really, really stupid.

Astra gave him a small smile as she looked over tue candy. "Wow, I love these, can I have some? Whoops, I should introduce myself, I'm Astra." She held out her hand.

"Sure," he said, brightening up. He opened the bag of skittles and offered her the bag. "I'm Javi. From, from the Air Magic Clan."

(Question: Is it like not allowed for clans to interact with each other or like?)

(I think they shouldn't be allowed because that would make the story more interesting.)
