"I can fight!" She grew angry.

"Which is exactly why you have to stay away."
"Why should I stay away if I can fight?"
"Because you'll get yourself killed, you idiot!"
"No I won't!" She grew a little angry.
"You keep doing that, yes you will" they looked around, "Shut up"
Ash frowned and leaned back in her chair. "I wouldn't get killed.."
Lintar shook their head and looked away, "Never mind"
Ash huffed and stood up. "I'm going back to my room. See you later."
"Bye."
Ash went back angrily to her room and sat down on her bed. I'm a good fighter, right? I wouldn't get killed. Lintar doesn't know what they're talking about.
Lintar packed up soon after, ignoring the stares from around the room.
Ash fingered the bracelet's on her arm, one pink one, and another a darker shade of pink.
"Hi" Lintar stood in the doorway, watching Ash fidget with the bracelets
"Hey." Ash didn't look up. She unwound the bracelets from her arm and threw them onto the nightstand, frowning.
"What are those?"
"Pink for female. Blue for male. Then silver for..other days."
"OK." they sat down next to Ash on the bed
"I miss them. My family.." She said quietly.
"Who send you here?"
"I-I don't remember.."
Lintar looked alarmed, "How?"
"There was no warning. I just remember walking home and t-then this guy grabbed me and I woke up here."
"What?" Lintar looked around, "Your parents don't know?"
Ash shook her head, not looking at Lintar.
Lintar just sat there, watching Ash
“What?” She asked quietly, glancing up at him, her eyes cloudy with tears.
"Nothing." they looked away
Ash sighed and laid down, her legs curled up to her chest.
Lintar, not knowing what to do, suddenly took an interest in their shoelaces
