Amethyst nodded, then turned to walk back outside. With a sudden thought, she pulled a pen out of her purse and held her hand out.

"O-okay?" He was really confused, but held his hand out to her anyway.

Amethyst started writing something on his hand.
"There," she said when she was finished. "Now you have my number." She gave him one last smile before dashing back out into the rain and jumping in her car.

"Oh, uh, thanks," he yelled after her. "Oh sh-" he thought when he saw the time. He started making his mad dash across the school campus and to one of the other buildings. He ran inside, soaking wet, took a deep breath, and walked into the classroom. Fifteen minutes late. Luckily nobody seemed to care as he quickly slid into a seat near the back.

"What did you do, now?" a blonde asked Amethyst as the latter slid into the seat across from her.
"Wow, nice to see you, too, Katie," Amethyst joked. "And I have no idea what you're talking about."
Katie smirked knowingly. "Mm-hm… Sure you don't."
"Seriously, I didn't do anything!"
"Then why are your eyes sparkling like they used to whenever you were around Cody?"
Amethyst's jaw dropped slightly, and she stuttered, "Uh– I– What? No they're not. And they didn't sparkle then, either."
"Sure, sure," Katie waved her off disbelievingly, leaning back in her seat. "Does this have anything to do with the reason you're so late?"
"I'm not that late," Amethyst grumbled, crossing her arms and leaning back like her friend.
Katie grinned. "It does, doesn't it?!? You met a cute guy, didn't you?" she questioned. "Tell me all about it!"
Amethyst groaned and put her face in her hands, hiding the blush that was growing on her cheeks. "Fine," she groaned before telling her friend everything that had happened before she got to the restaurant.

((Hoi! Once again I'm really sorry for being so inactive! Luckily, it's the weekend, and I only have two days left of school, so I can spend more time on here ^^))
Seth tried to focus during his class, he truthfully did. However, his mind kept wandering elsewhere, mainly to thoughts of a purple haired girl and the phone number written on his hand. About half way through the class, he realized he wasn't going to be able to pay attention, and gave up all together. He started to draw on a piece of empty note paper, drowning out the teachers voice. It was English anyways, so how much could it really matter.

Katie teased Amethyst nonstop about Seth after she had told her about him, even after they had left to go to different classes. She texted her all day, making her phone vibrate in her pocket almost continually. Amethyst was definitely starting to regret telling her friend as much as she had, which included exactly what she thought of him.

Seth anxiously sat through the last few minutes of his last class, before finally he could leave. He bolted out the door, and ran to where his car was parked a little ways away. He unlocked it and got in, then pulled out his phone, dialing the number Amethyst had given him. He took a deep breath, before hitting the call button. He put his phone up to his ear as it started to ring.

As soon as Amethyst's class finished, her phone started to ring, playing the song "When Can I See You Again" by Owl City. She quickly fished it out of her purse, then answered it without looking at the caller ID.
"This is Amethyst. To whom am I speaking?"
