Day Two
We have gone several miles in and have just finished setting up camp.
Day Seven
We have been attacked by panthers. Axtin and I are the only ones left now.
Day Fourteen
Not many rations left. We might die out here.
Faith started at the pages she had managed to save from her diary. She hoped they could get out of this mess but the chances of survival were slim.

Axtin now sat on the forest floor. He usually was quite jubilant and energetic, but the several days spent with just one other person was wearing his patience. Reaching into his jeans' pockets, he fished out the swiss army knife. Out of boredom, he began flipping the different small utensils in and out of their places.
