One On One Romance Anybody?? ((CLOSED OOOPS I FORGOT TO CHANGE THIS))

“Huh? Oh, yeah… I’m fine.” She said quietly, walking a little faster so she was walking next to Pax.

"Okay then, just making sure." She smiled a little at her in a reassuring manner. "So then… Anything interesting happen to you today?Did the bullies leave you alone?" She inwardly cringed from how awkward it sounded, but she didn't know any other way to start a conversation.

She nodded, “Yeah, they did… thanks again for that,” she smiled a little at her, “What about you?”

"That's great to hear! And don't mention it." She thought for a second before saying, "Well, I guess it's kinda interesting, but whoever my soulmate is actually drew back.. Apparently they don't like mcr…" She laughed a little, slightly shaking her head while looking at the mess of ink over her hand.

Elide tensed, “What?”

Pax stopped, tensing up herself. "Look you dumbass, you screwed it all up" she thought. "Oh uh," she started. "Uh my soulmate p-person drew over the band symbol I d-drew on my hand this morning." She held out her hand and awkwardly ran her hand through her hair.

Elide took a small step forward to examine Pax’s hand.

Elide gulped and shakily reached out her own hand to show where she had drawn over the drawing.

Pax stared slack jawed at Elides hand. They matched perfectly. She took a shaky breath and met Elides eyes. "Uh, uh," she tried to say something, but all words faded from her mind. She continued to stare at their hands, letting the thought settle.

Elide rolled her sleeve down and backed away a step. She’d never thought that something like this would happen to her. She swallowed and bit her lip nervously.

"Wait!" Pax reached out and grabbed Elides arm to stop her from backing away. She took a step closer to her. Taking a breath to calm her nerves, she leaned in closer to Elide and kissed her. After a second, she stepped back and dropped Elides arm. Rubbing the back of her neck she said, "I'm sorry, I-I had to do that at least once… Y-you can leave now, if you want…"

Elide blushed but took a step forward and kissed her back, “Just letting you know now… I’m not great at this whole… relationship.. thing.”

"Oh don't worry, I'm not either…" She laughed, smiling at Elide. "Oh my God she didn't reject me," was the only thought going through her head.

“You know… that was my first kiss…” She said quietly.

"I-it was actually mine too… Sorry to, uh, let you down.." She was actually sorry, knowing that she had probably already made Elide wish she had ended up with someone else.

Elide reached up on her tip toes and kissed her again, having no idea where her confidence was coming from, “You didn’t let me down…”

This time it was her turn to blush. "Oh, uh, well, thank you then." She awkwardly smiled and looked down. She shook her head and looked back over at Elide. "Should we keep going now?" She still felt awkward, like she was ruining the moment just by saying anything at all.

Elide bit her lip and nodded, trying to compress her smile. She had made Pax blush. She had a feeling it wouldn’t be the last time either.

Pax smiled and took Elides hand, starting to walk again. "Well then, this day has taken a turn for the better" she thought.

“So.. Pax, umm can you tell me a little more about yourself.” She asked as they walked through the park, the cool breeze making her shiver slightly.

"Of course I can, what is it you wish to know?" She noticed her shiver. She asked quietly, "I can give you my sweater if you're cold?"

“Oh, it’s fine… you don’t have to. Umm, anything you with to tell me.” She said.

"Well then," she thought for a minute before saying, "My full name is Pax Rowan Star. My parents thought that I was going to be a boy, then were just too lazy to change my name. Not that I mind. I'm an only child, uhh, my favorite color is black… I like pop punk music. My favorite animals are black panthers. Uhh, I'm 15, I like drawing? My favorite book is Harry Potter.. Yeah, does that help any?" She laughed a little, half shrugging.

Elide smiled a little, “Cool, Harry Potter is a good series, personally I prefiere Throne of Glass or A court of Thrones and Roses. Amazing plot and characters, Sarah is an amazing writer,” Elide didn’t even realise she was rambling about books.

Pax smiled at her as she rambled on about books. It was cute, how passionately she talked about them. She quietly responded, "Yeah, I read the first book a little while ago. I couldn't find the other ones though, so I never finished the series."
