"no problem." he started up his car and pulled out, starting on the way to their apartment

"So you sing too right?" She asked quietly.
"I've been told I can." he said as he turned down a road
"I think you sound lovely. Even though all I heard was through the walls of the apartment." She chuckled a little.
Tempest flushed heavily when she said that "th-thank you Jo."
"No problem- I mean it." She smiled a bit and giggled at his flushed face.
THey soon pull into the parking lot of the apartment and he takes the keys out of the car "Let's get you to bed." He chuckles as he helps her out.
She smiled and took his hand. "I won't be able to sleep but sure." She chuckled.
"oh I'm sorry to hear." Temp said as he pulled her up, her an inch from his face "You let me know if there is anything I can do okay?"
She flushed herself and looked away. "Like I said last night- Insomnia. It's my best friend." She sighed.
He nodded and sighed "Just feel bad you can't sleep…it must be hard."
She shrugged. "I mean I guess." She rubbed her face smearing her eyes liner:
He keeps hold of her hand as he leads her back up the stairs of their apartment to help her, since she seemed pretty tired.
"Thank you again." She yawned laying her head on his shoulder.
Tempest pauses on the top of stairs and hugs her close "Joanne I…I really like you…you're so sweet…and pretty…I just wanted to let you know that okay?"
She looked at him confused. "You… you think I'm pretty?" She asked feeling her heart beat speed.
"Oh course I do. I'd have to be blind not to see that." He muttered
She felt tears sting her eyes. She couldn't believe it. "Oh Temp-" she wrapped her arms around him and dug her face into his chest.
His eyes widen for a second, then he calms down and holds her there, a fluttering feeling in his chest as that little twinge of sorrow he carried around for a year and a half…lessened, soon feeling like it had never been there at all.
She stood in his arms, feeling the weight from the last few days listed. She smiled softly holding him there in this place of peace.
Tempest lifts her head gently and gives her forehead a sweet little kiss then takes her hand again, leading them back to her room after they had stood there quite a while
She blushed and followed along behind him silently. She didn't know what to think.
He stood in front of her door, then looked back to his, then to you "Wanna come back to my place to talk a little, until you feel like you can sleep?"
She looked at him and gave a gentle smile. "I'd love to- if it isn't too late for you."
"Na it's fine I'm used to being a night owl." he assures her with a smile as he opens his door.
She giggled a little and walked in. "If you're sure."
"Can I get you anything this time?" He asks with a warm smile, mirroring the time they first met
She giggled a little. "You have any tea? Uncaffeinated?" She asked rubbing her eyes again.
"oh course." He said as he rummaged through one of his kitchen cabinets soon taking some tension tamer out "This is supposed to help with sleep I think"
She looked at it. "What is it- it may actually matter." She said scrunching her brow.
