She snapped out of her train of thought. "Oh- uh he's…." She stopped to think. "Well he can transform into a human sized wolf."
"So…a werewolf?" John asked his co-worker.
"No- not like that. He can do it at will. He's a…. a… anthryo-whatcha-mickal-it." She said banging her fist against her forehead. "He told me too! Why can't I remember?"
"An Anthro-shifter is the official name I think…you seem to care about him."
"That sounds about rig- wait what? I-I mean yeah….course…course I do." She mumbled rinsing out the glass.
"Thank you Jo…I have a new point of view now." And with that he continued to work
Joanna smiled in a better mood now. She laughed and had a good time as they worked. The night seemed to fly by.
Back at the studio Tempest had some workers to play A Hard Knock Life as they organized and cleaned the studio
Joanna had gotten a ten minute break and was sitting at the bar with a drink. She was attempting to call Tempest, but wasn't sure if he'd pick up.
Temp felt the buzz in his pocket and picked up "sup Jo?" he asked as he pressed the phone against his shoulder and cheek, continuing to clean as the song played.
"Just wanted to tell you I just saved your butts a few hours ago. Are your friends headed over?" She asked sipping her drink.
"Yeah they should be in a few. What happened that you saved us from?"
"They almost banned you. That's all."
"Oh so the usual…well thanks for stickin' up for us." his voice is directed away from the phone but still heard "You all! You're all off! Any old enough go say hi to Jo for me!"
Joanna laughed. "Could just come and say hi yourself, I won't kick you out." She hummed.
"Alrighty I'll be over too in a little a bit." He assured her, and with that he hung up and got his keys from his pocket to lock up the studio for the night.
She smiled slipping the phone in her pocket. She hopped off the bar stool and went behind the counter.
Soon a familiar vampire opened the door and looked around before silently sitting at the bar stool "Jo hey Jo give me a bloody mary. That'd be pretty funny" Lexi whispered to Jo before the rest of the group got there.
Joanna chuckled. "Hey Lexi. Bloody Mary? I can do that." She said grabbing a glass.
She smirked a bit as she looked to the person next to her "Hey there." her eyebrow arched as she spoke "Don't worry bud I'm good for my blood consumption for the month." She told him
Joanna chuckled and handed her drink over to her. "Don't scare the customers."
"Ah that's not fun." Lexi smirked as the rest of the group started to pour in, all seven of them.
"Well if you get too rowdy or dangerous my boss can and will kick you out and or ban you. So behave." She chuckled waving at the others.
"Alright since you asked." Lexi responded as the rest sat down, Tempest close by. He talked to a man by the door for a second before giving him a hug, wishing him a great rest the evening and walking into the bar.
Joanna was busy at work missing Tempest come in. She was pouring drinks in a rush and finally had them all set on the counter. "Dang y'all." She chuckled.
Tempest sat in the seat between Gavin and Richard (an angel), shifting into his canine from without worry here.
Joanna looked at Tempest. "Oh! Hi! You want some water?" She asked grabbing another glass.
"Sure that'd be great" He responded, among the few that were not drinking
She smiled and poured him a glass. "I think we have other things as well." She chuckled leaning over. "Chocolate milk, apple juice, orange juice." She shrugged. "Oh and eggnog that isn't spiked.
