"Those pianos are always out of tune." He commented as they walked hand in hand, as happy as he could be.

"What? Oh- no I meant about the employee." She noted laying her head on his arm.
"Oh that wasn't much compared to some reactions in the past. I think people are a little tense with everything happening right now."
"Oh- OK. So what do you want to do now? Bath & Body Works?" She suggested relaxing a bit.
"Oh some self care stuff there!" His tail happily wagged before he shifted back human "I don't wanna knock anything over with that battering ram of a tail." he laughed
Joanna giggled and started pulling him along. "Do you have a favorite Christmas scent?"
"Apple Cider is the best! Change my mind." He chuckled
"I like peppermint anything. But Apple Cider is fine." She shrugged pulling him into the store.
"Oh peppermint!" He smiled happily as he was pulled in and looked around for the scented hand sanitizers
"Whatcha looking for? I was going to look at candles." She smiled, still holding his hand.
Those scented hand sanitizers…my sister and I used to come here just for those."
She giggled. "Up by the front." She gestured reaching over to pick up a candle.
Once she had the candle Tempest puller her along to the many scented hand sanitizers "Gosh there are lot more than I remember."
She laughed smelling her candle. "Oh- yeah I don't like this." She scrunched her face. "The candle I mean."
"What kind is it?" he asked as he took a whiff of a s'mores sanitizer
"Some weird cotton candy something." She said setting it aside.
"Oh smell this." He told her as he held what he held under her nose
She smelled it and gave him a look. "Pretty good."
He smiled and got about three different scented hand sanitizers and helped her look around for some candles
"I'm looking for something for my little sister." She explained.
"oh! you have a sister?"
"Yup, two, and two brothers. I'm the forth child." She nodded with a sigh.
"Jeeze! that's so cool." he told her. "What kind of scents does your sister like?"
"Anything fruity. She's still kinda young." She shrugged, picking up another one.
Tempest picked up another as well and sniffed, taken aback by the sickly sweet scent
"What is it?" She asked leaning over to smell it from his hands.
"Smells like cupcake or something." He responded, not wanting to think about how it would smell burning.
"She'd probably love it then. Is it over the top sweet smelling?" She asked sniffing it. "Oh gosh, yeah it is."
Tempest chuckled and put the top back over the candle "Anything else we need?" he asked
"I'm fine, what about you?" She smiled putting the candle she had been holding back.
