“Let me grab you yours real quick.” She smiled brightly pulling away from the hug.

"Alright then." He smiled brightly and waited for her to come back. Tempest wondered what shecould have gotten him
She quickly grabbed the medium sized box, wrapped in silver paper. “Here!” She chirped.
He took the box in his hands and tore away the paper, excited to see what she had given to him
There were a few things in the box, mostly little. There was a pair of tickets, turned over so you couldn’t see what for. And beside them was another wrapped box.
He looked over the tickets and then opened up the other box. Tempest's heart hammered in his chest. What if what she got me is like way better than what I got her? he worried a bit
Joanna knew she had over done it, just a touch, but she wasn’t too worried about it.
In the other wrapped box, was the microphone from the day before that he had mentioned.
"Oh my God Joanna y-you…didn't have to do this i-it's too much and I don't even know what the tickets are for yet." His face flushed beet red as he turns his head
“Oh come on, you deserve a little splurging on.” She smiled, kissing his cheek. “Besides, the next thing is for both of us.”
He takes a closer look at the tickets "what are they for?" He asked her
She pointed to the wording. Universal Studios was typed out on the slip of paper. “Before you get mad, my brother sent me these, and he told me to go with my ex. But we broke up, and I didn’t want to waste them.”
Instead of getting angry Tempest kissed Joanna, a full kiss that sent a rush of endorphin through his brain "You never cease to amaze me."
At hearing those words, her heart fluttered with elation. "Y-you're just saying that," Joanna flushed a soft color, giving his shoulder a gentle shove. "I'm nothing special."
"No you're everything to me Jo…tickets or not you're the best person in my life" A little of his natural blue eye coloring shone through the contact lenses.
She hung her head down, still flushed. She buried her face in her hands. "Stop, really Tempest, it's nothing special." She tried to deny him, just as a common instinct.
"Hey…you need to give yourself more credit" he whispered and cupped the sides of her face in his hands
Joanna looked into his eyes and sighed. “As long as you give yourself some too.” She replied holding onto his hands that held her.
He smiled and kissed her once again "Let's go have some fun love."
She perked up a little bit. “Let’s! Come on before it gets too late!” She giggled pulling him out of her apartment.
He let her drag him along with a chuckle, as happy as could be
“Who’s driving Temp?” She asked realizing she had left her keys inside.
HE smiled a bit and fished his keys from his pocket "I will unless you wanna drive the Forester"
"Nah, you can drive." She smiled back walking over to his car. "If you're okay with that at least."
"Of course!" Tempest Got into the car and turned to her once she had gotten in as well "Where to beautiful?"
Joanna smirked some and tapped his nose. "Well it seems rather rude to talk about yourself like that when I'm around."
He blushed beet red then turned the keys "where you wanna go?" He asked
Joanna smirked at his flushed face, and leaned on her palm. "Not sure, but somewhere to get breakfast." She noted, patting her stomach.
Tempest drove to a J Christopher's and pulled into the parking lot. "this place okay?" He asked Jo
"Yeah, it's totally fine." She hummed pecking his cheek. "Let's go!"
"He got out of the car and helped his girlfriend out of the car, his hand in hers as they walked in.
