Pulling out a check, she wrote on it, and slipped it into an envelope. Writing Ember's name on the front, she turned around and walked back to Tempest. "Give this to her for me, will you?"

"Jo she'll..she'll never take this…but I'll try to get her to take it. You truly are the kindest woman."
"If she doesn't, you take it. I mean it. Don't let her waste it." Joanna said, sitting down beside him. "She needs it, and she needs the time off. It's only fair."
"I love you…are so sweet." he leaned over and kissed her gently
Smiling, she put a hand under his chin and held him as she kissed back. "I love you more…"
After that broke for air he grinned "I dunno if that's possible."
"You believe what you want to." She hummed, still holding his chin. A warm look was on her lips, and she leaned forward, resting her head on his shoulder.
He just noticed then that he hadn't been looking at the tape "sorry I missed most of that little snip it of your life…I think I have an old album somewhere if you ever wanted to see how I grew up."
"I'd love to." She whispered, kissing his neck. "Besides, it's fine, there wasn't much to see." She whispered once more, holding him closer.
He chuckled a bit and whispered "I would get it now but you're making that a little hard to do…so comfy here."
“Maybe I don’t want you to go right now.” She purred laying back on the couch. “Maybe I just want you to hold my waist and cuddle me.”
"Happy to oblige you beautiful woman." He smiled pulling her back close to him. "ah we all need a day like this sometimes…where we get a little done and become cuddly and lazy." He chuckled
She giggled, kissing his cheeks before burying her face into his shoulder. "I don't get how you think I'm beautiful, but I won't deny you." She whispered, kissing on his shoulder slightly.
"Just how I don't get you thinkin' I'm handsome." he whispered, stroking her back gently as he let out a relaxed breath
She didn't plan to argue, and just let the two of them relax. "Were you planning on going to work today?" She asked softly.
"Do you have to go to work tonight?" he asked as he played with her hair a bit
"Well, I do." She mumbled, and nuzzled her nose against his neck.
"Well I guess I'll go in to make a call with an older client but I'm not planning on having too busy of a night. I have to plan for new year's as well." he murmured, a smile across his lips as she nuzzled against his neck
"An older client?" She hummed, knowing her lips were brushing against him when she spoke. She didn't want to go to work, so she thought if he convinced her otherwise, it would work out for her. So she was trying to keep him comfortable.
"Just someone that's hired my studio for several…for several of his small inde games." he relaxed against her "You don't really get that many days off," he shivered a bit as he felt her lips against him ",are you sure your boss would mind you..umm…calling in sick or something? Perhaps ate something at the party that messed up your stomach?"
"Oh I don't know… he is super laid-back though…" She smirked, knowing she was totally capable of taking the day off. It wasn't a holiday, so she was good whenever. Maybe it was truly a miracle that she had gotten Tempest. "You know, you're a bad influence. Now I really want to take the day off." She mumbled, still sticking close.
"You're the one that's making me not wanna move silly." he told her, giving her neck this time a kiss
A smirk settled on her lips, and she felt her breath catch in her throat. "I think I'll have to call in sick. I can go with you to work and hang out for the evening." She purred, a warm look on her face.
"Alright that sounds lovely" he whispered "soon I'll have to get ready…buuut not quite yet." he said, nuzzling into her neck
“Sounds like a wonderful plan where we get to continue cuddling for a little bit.” She cooed, resting more into his arms.
Ans so they continued to enjoy being close to one another. He hummed softly felt a pure blissful feeling
“One question before I end up falling asleep. When do you have to get up? To go to work I mean.” She asked, completely relaxing now.
"Two hours." he whispered, setting an alarm on his cell phone and then wrapped his arms in an embrace
She giggled slightly and lifted her head. “That’s plenty of cuddle time.” She grinned, pressing her lips to his.
He pressed into the kiss mumbling something into it against her lips
