"Oh thank goodness, this is why I love you so much." She smiled, pushing the front door open, and held it for him. "I don't even have to ask you, and you just know."

"Nothin's gonna come between us y'know?" he told her as he entered
"That sounds like a dream," She whispered fondly, coming in behind him. "A dream, I hope will stay reality."
"It is reality…I'm gonna make sure of it." Tempest told her and dipped a finger in his ice cream and booped her nose with it
"Eep! Temp!" She squeaked, scrunching her nose up. "That's cold." She pouted, but playfully.
He chuckled out loud and gave her nose a little lick as the door shut behind them "I love ya" he muttered
"Love you too." She smiled, before biting into her cone. With her free hand, she led him over to a chair and pointed to it. "Sit."
He sat down as he nibbled at the edge of his cone
Joanna planted herself in his lap, biting off part of her own cone. "You're cute." She chirped with a smile.
He hummed happily with her there and licked away most of his cone pretty quickly. "Right back at you good lookin'"
"I'm surprised no one's come in, just to gag at us." She laughed, licking at the last bit of her cone.
"They're busy probably celebrating and planning the opening track to Theo's game." he muttered as he bit down the last of his cone.
"Really? That was fast, we weren't even gone for twenty minutes." She laughed lightly, resting her head on his shoulder.
"Yeah but Theo is a big customer we gotta make him proud so he spreads how good we do to others." Tempest explained
"True at that. Though, it's still fast." She hummed, before running her hand over his fur gently. "I can't fall asleep again…" She groaned, shutting her eyes.
"Well…" he started to tickle at Joanna "We can't have that can we?"
She squeaked, and slapped his hand instinctively. "Ah! I'm sorry!" She told him, putting a hand over her mouth. "I didn't mean to do that."
"That's okay cutie it's a normal response to that." he told her as he kissed her cheek
"I… just feel bad." She mumbled, feeling her face heat up slightly. "I shouldn't have slapped you." Joanna said, continuing to mumble.
"It was just my hand…not like you slapped me in face or anything." he shrugged, his tail still wagging behind himself a bit
Resting her head on his shoulder, she let out a deep breath. Her mood seemed to have dropped slightly, but she tried to cover it up with a slight smile. "Yeah, I guess that's true."
He kissed her cheek again "Hey come on you're fine…hey…wanna another piano lesson?" he asked gently
Sitting up some, she took his hand. “Sure! If you don’t have other work to do that is.” She hummed, slipping off his lap.
He stood up and shook his head leading her over to to the piano set. He had her sit down on his lap again at the piano stool and helped her warm up with some scales
Her fingers glided across the keys, tripping up a few times. She was taking it at a slow pace to begin with. She felt warm here by Tempest.
"It's alright you're still doing good." He told her as he rested his head on her shoulder
She sucked in a deep breath, and tried the scale once more. Her thumb kept bumping one key, causing her to get more frustrated than before.
"try again. You'll get it." he patiently said as he kissed her jaw gently "I know you can do it."
Her stomach turned, but she focused on the keys. She was seconds away from giving up, even with his encouraging words.
He hummed the notes along with her to help a bit
