"I know we had them not long ago but they're just so good." He told her as ran a hand through her hair

"I really don't mind, as long as I get fed." She hummed, pecking his lips before pulling back away from him.
So soon enough Tempest had prepared chocolate chip waffles and sliced pineapple of a plate for each of them. He set the plates down at his tiny kitchen table "I know it's an unpopular opinion but I don't mind pineapple on pizza"
“I don’t either, though it’s definitely a required taste.” She hummed, pulling her plate closer to herself.
Tempest filled two glasses with orange juice and set one by Joanna. He then dug into his food with a cheery expression
"How do you stay so happy?" She asked softly, eating her waffle. She was watching him in admiration.
"Well my life is going pretty well right now. I'm working my dream job and spending each day with the love of my life. What else could want?" he told Joanna happily
It made her smile to know his life was good. "You're an incredibly lucky guy Tempest." She whispered, reaching out to take his hand in hers. "I'm pretty lucky too, to have you in my life."
He firmly took and hand and kissed the back of it in an affectionate manner
Face growing its' familiar soft shade of pink, she gave him a happy look. "You're too gentlemanly." She whispered.
"Why thank you madam" Tempest grinned as he stuffed a bit of waffle in his mouth
Snickering, she quickly finished off her own before getting up. "I love you, so much."
"Likewise Joanna." he told her as he finished up his food and got up as well
"You ready handsome?" She asked, looping her arms around his waist from behind. "If not, we can snuggle some more."
"We can snuggle later…I kinda have to cool down after that." he chuckled a bit. "I don't wanna start misbehaving." he joked
"You know you wouldn't get in trouble with me, right?" She asked softly, pressing a gentle kiss to his back. "You know I wouldn't be mad?"
He let out a little laugh and leaned slightly into the kiss "Really now? Well you've set limits for today and I don't need to cross those Jo."
"I just want you to know," Joanna told him with a soft smile.
Tempest turned back to her and gave her a smooch "Piano now cutie…we gotta get busy with the only productive thing we're gonna do today." he chuckled
Laughing lightly, she took his hand and pulled him over to the piano. "You'll have to show me the keys again, just as a refresher." She hummed, patting the seat for him to sit.
Tempest sat at the piano and waited for Jo to do the same.
Sitting down besides him, she glanced up to his face with a smile. "Ready blue-eyes?"
He responded with a chromatic scale at a speed that Jo could follow "Yeah I think I'm warmed up"
Giving him a wide eyed look, she glanced from the keys back up to his face. "How!? You just sat down!" She exclaimed, looking down to his hands in confusion.
"It's like riding a bike. Once you learn you can't forget." Tempest told her with a smile
"But… I never learned to ride a bike." She mumbled, running her fingers across the keys.
"What? What kind of childhood did you have?" he asked her as he tilted his head a bit
'Not a great one…' Joanna found herself shrugging, giving him what she could. "Not one I learned how to ride a bike. That's for sure."
"Maybe I'll teach you someday." he told her with a little grin "Alright show me what you remember."
Slow and careful, she played a minor scale she remembered. "I know it isn't much…"
