“That’s… That’s not possible,” She said shaking her head, “They don’t… don’t exist and if they did I wouldn’t have one.”
One-on-one romance rp becuase I’m bored!! (Closed but stalk if you want to)
"Oh, don't talk like that. Everyone has a soulmate," Veronica said, smirking slightly.
She shook her head again and stood up, “No, they- I don’t have one.”
Veronica stood up and looked at her. "You do."
“Why do you keep saying that?” She said quietly.
"Because. Maybe she's closer than you think," Veronica said. She let out a long breath and turned around, not looking at Elide.
“You…” She said the realisation washing over her, “But… you’re… you don’t deserve someone like me… you.. you deserve better.”
Veronica shook her head. "You're the only one who thinks that. To me, you're perfect," she said, her face turning pink.
“I-I…” She didn’t have the words so she sat back down, “Can.. can we take this slow, please?”
"I meant as a person. Don't take that the wrong way…" Veronica said, slumping back down onto the bench.
Elide nodded, “This is all so confusing… you’re my soulmate. I’ve never… I don’t know how… this things work.” She said quietly.
"Well neither do I," Veronica muttered.
“I guess we’ll have to figure this… this out together.” She said with a small smile and she felt heat rise to her cheeks.
"Yeah…guess so," she said quietly. She suddenly jumped up and grabbed her bag. "Oh no…oh no no no…"
“What’s wrong?” She asked, concern flooding her features.
"The school probably called my dad by now…he…he's going to kill me," She replied, her voice shaky.
“Oh,” She cautionly reached out her hand to grab hers, to try and comfort her, “Well, I umm, I guess you should go then?”
Veronica shook her head. "I-I can't go home now…who knows how he'd react," she said so quietly it was hard to hear her.
“Do.. do you maybe… umm,” She was instantly regretting this, “want to come… back to mine? Get to… to know each other?”
Veronica smiled slightly. "Really?"
Elide fidgeted with the sleeve of her shirt and nodded, “I don’t know you… and.. and if the soulmate thing is true… then it’s a good place to start…”
(If you haven't seen already, I'm leaving today. So umm….bye…sorry…)
(Actually. I have one more day!)
Veronica nodded. "That's true…"
(Yay!)
Elide stood up, feeing very nervous and offered her hand to Veronica.
Veronica hesitated slightly before taking her hand.
Elide pulled Veronica to her feet and walked a few meters before letting it go. Slow, she had to take it slow. Even though she was sure Veronica wouldn’t mind if they held hands, Elide wasn’t ready.
Veronica sighed and crossed her arms, walking slightly behind Elide. She didn't know why she was so sure that this was supposed to work out….but she was.
Elide led Veronica to her house in comfortable silence, not wanting to make conversation in case she embarrassed herself.
Veronica muttered things under her breath occasionally as she walked, looking up just enough to make sure she didn't lose Elide.
Elide turned the handle of her gate, opening to a two story house. They had quite a big garden with a hammock strung to two trees in the corner. Her favourite place. “Dad, I’m back umm… Don’t come into my room for a while…” She heard her dads grunt of approval and led her upstairs.
(I’m gonna have to go for a bit but I’ll be back in an hour or so)
