Okay. So template or no template, also fantasy school or normal. In my opinion it would be kinda a cool to do a magic school.

Skye walked into her Dorm and went to her room flopping on her bed. It was nice thier was a living room, a kitchen, and each person had thier own room only one bathroom which sucked but she'd deal with it she was at a special highschool because of her special gifts. she put her bags in her room and sat on her bed.
Miguel walked into his dorm room, looking down at a map of the school, he looked up and saw where his bedroom was, I wonder if my dorm mate is here yet… He sighed and enter his bedroom setting down his bags and reinforcing the spell hiding the fact that had some unusual traits of an imp. Really it was only a tail but he'd rather hide it from everyone. Miguel then took a look at the schedule for the day to find out when the orientation starts.
skye used her telekeneisis to unpack but accidentaly dropped a couple books making a lound crash "Dang it" she said and got on the floor picking the books up by hand.
Miguel flinched at the noise and stopped unpacking. He got up with a sigh and left his room, walking over to the other bedroom. He paused for a second before lightly knocking.
she layed her books on her desk. She walked over to the door and opened it.
Miguel was surprised to see a girl standing before him but awkwardly smiled, “Um…hi, is, uh, everything okay in here? Did you drop something?”
"I'm sorry I just dropped some of my books" she said. SKye held out her hand " I'm Skye Piperpoint" she said.
“It’s fine,” Miguel responded then shook Skye’s hand, “My name is Miguel Lucero.”
"it's nice to meet you" skye said. she had hoped that Miguel couldn't see her books.
“Same to you,” Miguel replied, “What kind of magic do you specialize in?” He asked, curious to know.
"Interesting,"Miguel replied, Vague but what ever…
She nodded " I should probally start unpacking" she said
"Yeah, I should too," Miguel replied and left, heading back to his own room to begin unpacking again.
