"It does but I can handle the pain for a little longer."

"Well, what area is injured?"

"Probably my whole leg. I don't know."

"Oh, okay. This won't hurt but it will feel a little bit cold. I'm going to put it on your leg, it'll help ease the pain for a little while but you won't be able to walk for now. It seems your leg is… erm… broken…." Jacob said, gently massaging the slime onto Leon's leg.

"Oh, okay then." Leon said as he thought of other things to distract himself.

"Um, I never caught your name." Jacob said.

"Leon Agnes." He answered as he stared blankly at the ceiling.

"Leon is a nice name." Jacob said. There was an awkward silence, the only noise was the low hum of the machine, sometimes the occasional clank or whirring sound.

"Thank you?" He said, making it sounds more like a question.

"Um… so, what lead you to falling through the roof? Normally people don't do that. No offense intended."

"None taken and I'd rather not talk about it."

"Oh." Jacob said. "Sorry."

"It's fine."

"No!" Leon yelled and blushed slightly in embarrassment, "Just don't tell them I'm here please."

"Why not? Nobody will mind, we get strange visitors all the time."

"Just please don't." He said. I don't want to die yet.

"Listen, we'll both get in trouble if I don't check you in. Seriously."
