One on One? (Soulmate RP)

(Few questions… Are our characters in the same place? Do they already know each other? Where are you?)

(Our char's can be in the same place if you want. They do not know each other yet. And I'm sitting under a tree at some random park.)

It was ridiculously hot outside and Darren could feel the sweat beginning to collect on his forehead. He didn't even know why he chose today to go to the park.

Pari ignored the echoing thoughts of her significant other, where ever they were, flipping the pages of her book.

(I have to leave soon… so I should go rn… I might be back later…)

(Okay see you later.)

(Puff! Im back but not for too long….)

(Whenever I enter a room w/ my friends I say, Puff!! With hand gestures, anyway, continue??)

Darren looked around wishing at the very least he has something to drink. He would kill for water at least.

She set down her bottle of water, taking the condensation off the bottle wiping it across her face.
“Now I know it’s exciting and all, but you’re all almost adolescents, stay calm,” She looked at all of us, individually.
“We expect all students to follow both the schedule and the rules,”
The ‘Sophomore Pretty Girl’ Raised her hand. “Yes, Ms. Clarasin?”
“What are the rules? They aren’t on here, and I know that they change depending on your year,” She used her overly-posh-for-the-principal-fancy-British accent.
Paris loved this book.

Darren stood up, maybe a walk around the park would take his mind off of dehydration. He walked around and saw people everywhere. A couple eating lunch together at a picnic table, a girl reading under a tree, people just happy to be outside enjoying the heat.

Paris caught herself with a smile stuck on her face. She relaxed her facial muscles, fumbling to flip the next page of her book.

Darren decided to stop, he was going to die if he didn't find something to drink. He walked up to the closest person he saw, a girl reading a book under a tree. "Excuse me, do you know where I could find something to drink?"

"You can have some of my water?" She offered, placing a finger in her book to keep the page. "I'm Paris by the way,"

Darren took the water and drank it, being sure not to touch his lips to the bottle. "I'm Darren." He said as he handed the water bottle back. "Thanks, you probably just saved my life." Darren joked.

"Well, kind of yeah," She said. "So, whatcha' doing out here?"

Darren gestured to his clothes, a tank top, and gym shorts. "Picked the worst day to go for a run and hang out in the park." Darren smiled.

"Come on, it's not that bad, I mean I'm just sitting in the shade," She laughed. "But, aren't you supposed to bring water when you run?"

"Yeah, I guess that would have been what smart person would do…" Darren laughed, "Unfortunately smart isn't a word I would use when describing myself."

"Ha, very funny. Your gonna have to change that, anyone should be able to describe themselves with almost any word," She said. "But, have you ever ran before, which you probably have," She looked him in the eyes, "Bring Water!" She nagged her water bottle back.

Darren laughed at how she scolded him, it was like they knew each other, it was like talking to a friend.

"No wonder you don't describe yourself as smart, don't even bring water when you run," She muttered under her breath. Finding the sentence she was on, she scanned the book page.
