"Sorry." Jules chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "I guess I'm used to my ship…"

Jet huffed happily. “Yeah? What do you need the cockpit for?”

"I actually wanted to talk to you!"

Jet hummed gently and leaned on the door. “Yeah? What?”

"What job am I doing on here? Cus I can do Lil's job too if it's too much for her. Not that I'm doubting her, but I know she hasn't been feeling well lately."

“You’re just going to be lifting tanks of oxygen on and off of the ship.” Jet waved a hand. “You two’ll do fine.”

"Oh…" Jules paused. "Well I can do more than that if you need me."

Jet shrugged. “If you find anything, you can do it with her.”

"Okay but you see, my goal here is to have Lil do the least amount of work. Not that I doubt she can handle it….it's just that she went through a lot of crap recently and I think she needs a break."

Jet blinked. “I don’t want to be an ass or anything, cuz I was in love once… but I am paying both of you to work. Plus, that girl didn’t look too much down on the dirt.”

"Right. Okay. Just…" He paused. "Take it easy on her, okay?"

Jet hummed. “I’ll do the best I can, Squirt.”

"Thank you so much." He smiled. "Talk to you later…Captain!"

Jet nodded. “No problemo, Squirtio, I’ll be around if you need me.”

Jules nodded and headed back down the hall. He entered his quarters to fine Lil still asleep, curled up on the bed. He smiled and sat down on the edge next to her. You're so cute…

Lil stirred sleepily raising her head off of her pillow. She pulled a slight, grumpy face and wrinkled her nose. Am not.

"Are to." He chuckled. He leaned down and kissed her on her forehead.

Lil growled faintly and curled up into tightern ball of smol. Noooo

"Yessssss." He whispered. "Also, you should get up."
