Ferran stared out at the pouring rain. For some odd reason, it helped him wake up. He yawned and took a drink of his coffee.

Lydia got up and washed her face and watched as the rain hit the window. She got dressed in sweatpants and a sweater and went to the grocer. She arrived and bought some pasta and garlic bread, knowing that she already had sauce made at home. She went up to the counter and payed, not realizing that the cashier had slipped his phone number in her grocery bag.

She made it home in minimal traffic and made herself some tea.

Ferran perked up when he heard the door. He went out into the living room. "Lydia? That you?"
