Lori wasn't sure how long she walked towards the voice, it couldn't have been very long honestly but her head was still aching a bit so she couldn't really tell. Finally, she caught sight of a girl who looked about her age with brown hair standing near a well-like structure. She smiled a bit as she got closer. ”Hi.” Way to make the first meeting awkward. she sighed, leaning against the well.

The same voice again. Laura blinked once more in the bright sunlight, and while making sure to keep her memories of Izzy in her mind, she stumbled across the dry desert, heading in the direction she thought the voice came from. It seemed like she had been walking forever when she finally reached what looked like the first structure that was raised aboved the sand. Of corse, it was made of sand, of course, but still. A bump in the sand. A landmark…. maybe. There was sand everywhere, so it wouldn't be much of a landmark.
Luce licked his lips, his throat dry. He thought he could see people gathered around some sort of lump but passed it off as a hallucination. It took him a couple more minutes to realise they were actually real. "Oh my goodness," he said as he jogged up "Thank god. You are real right?"

Eden jumped a little upon hearing voices rather close to her. She turned her head one way, and her eye fell upon a tall, raven-haired girl. When she turned her head the other way, she came face to face with a guy with disheveled brown hair. "I uhm…" her face flushed, and her eye dropped to the ground. Other people were now in her reach, but it was a little embarrassing. "Hi, yes, I'm real."
"Oh good." Luce breathed. He sat down by the well and leaned back against it. "Any idea what is going on?" He spread his hands and gestured at the landscape.

Eden could only shake her head, feeling very nervous around these people that had now decided to appear next to her. After a moment of silence, she took a deep breath. "I'm praying this is a dream. I'm not at all fond of the brightness of this place." When she tried to open her eye a little more, it started to burn. Probably not a good idea. "So uhm… What's your name?"
"Lucian- People call me Luce." His eyes darted around. "It would be nice if this was a dream but I doubt it."
”I’m Lorelei but you can call me Lori. And yes, I'm real.” she tried to give the two a friendly smile… but she was never good at that. ”I don't think this is a dream either. This place looks totally deserted.” she pointed out, biting the tip of her tongue slightly.

When Laura finally reached what seemed like a group of people, she didn't want to intrude on whatever they were talking about, and hung around on the edge of the imaginary circle she drew around them.
"Is this well operational? Cause I am parched." Luce said turning. When he saw Laura, he gave a slight jump then grinned. "Hey other person that I've never met before! Come on over!"

"…you sure?" Laura asked doubtfully. "I… I don't want to intrude or anything," she explained, giving him a slight smile.
Lori looks at the well curiously, starting to wonder the same thing. ”You're not intruding on anything. Besides, considering you look like you're in the same boat as we are, might as well join forces. Safety in numbers, right?” she called over to the other girl before coughing a little from her own dry throat. ”Ok, let's find out if this sucker has clean water.” she decided, trying to figure out how to open the metal cover.

"…okay. Thanks," she walked over to Lori, peering curiously at the well. She pushed her hair back behind her shoulder, and started to walk around it, looking at it from all sides.

The area around them did look like it could use a little water, and the well seemed like their only hope of it. Eden blew dust off of the metal, and carefully felt around the rusted rim. An intricate pattern was engraved into the cover, but from the angle that she was stood at, she couldn't quite make out what it was. A person? People?
A rusted bit of metal looked like it should have been what lifted the cover up, but it was so stiff that they would need to bash it with a heavy rock until it lifted up. "We need a rock." she breathed, coughing a little from the dust that lingered in the stuffy air.
