Open Roleplay!!

Hi! Anyone can join, I'm just home sick and I really want to do one of these.

My character:
Natalia Bray
Age: 17
Looks: 5'2, long reddish brown hair, blue eyes, and a lot of freckles all over her body
Normal Outfit: She normally wears ripped jeans, a black shirt and her favorite denim jacket with black boots. She has glasses that are always falling off her face.
Personality: She is very stubborn and impatient. She is very optimistic and always thinks on the bright side. She loves her friends and would do anything to protect them.

My character:

Name: Frankie Dawson
Age: 19
Looks: Long hair, black to red. Green eyes and dark brown skin.
Normal clothes: She is very tomboyish/gothic. Likes to wear black jeans, a plaid or black top, a leather jacket and black boots. She is a little curvy but still fit, and proud of her body.
Personality: She stands up for herself and doesn't let any mean/rude comments affect her. She stands up for what she thinks is right.

She sounds really cool!
What genre do you want to do?

Here is my character:
Name: Robin Doe
Age: 18
Appearance: Black, wavy hair that reaches just a bit past the shoulders. Her skin is quiet pale, which makes her lipstick red lips stand out. Her icy blue eyes are surrounded by mascara. (She is a girl of makeup.) Her nose is smallish, but she has a piercing.
Clothes: Faded ripped jeans. Red and white horizontal striped shirt, with black ankle boots.
Personality: Tries to act like no one could put her down, but she is affected by people's comments. Once you get to her inside, she is a bit softie.
Other: A leather bracelet from her younger sister means the world to her. She wears it anywhere and everywhere.

Thank you! Maybe it could be a magic genre, like the characters are all friends or could just be in the same place at the wrong time. Maybe they find a rock/stone, touch it and each get a type of magic, then have to master their magic while not revealing themselves.

I also love that idea, @SlytherinPrideful! I think it would be fun to just all be in the same place at the wrong time because then we can meet each other's characters and learn new things, don't you think?

So do you think we should go ahead and reveal the powers to each other but the characters won't know the others, or leave it a mystery and keep it secret?

@lilaccskyes maybe leave it a mystery, but if someone is having trouble thinking, reveal it.
Maybe if you're torn between two powers to give, do both. I think that's what I'm gonna do.

Personally, I seem to always type, when I do rp, in third person.

I prefer third person. How about you guys?

Yeah. Me too. There is one person on another website who ALWAYS does first person, but on the same website my friends and I normally do something like:

Bob: slaps forehead Why'd you do that, you idiot?!
Billy: pouts I don't know. Leave me alone! stomps away

But we could also do:

Bob slaps his forehead. "Why'd you do that, you idiot?!"
"I don't know. Leave me alone!" Billy pouts before walking away.

I do the second version, but I don't care. Whatever you guys want.

I like the first version but I use the second a lot more.

Ok, so let's use the second one, but in past or present tense? And what is the order? I must admit I don't typically like doing RP's without an order, but as there is only three of us maybe it wouldn't matter that much?

Nah, it's fine that we are discussing this. Then it won't go all crazy later. I always find myself typing in past tense, as in She walked out of the room and punched the wall out of anger instead of She walks out of the room and decides to connect the brick wall with her frail fist.

I like past tense.
What do you mean by order? Like the order of who responds? I'll be first if that's what you mean.
Also should the setting be like all the characters are out one night and they all end up in the same place and that's the same place they get their new powers?

@lilaccskyes yeah. Like maybe you, then me then @pandagal72. Although I can go third if wanted. And maybe it's a school trip? Maybe to like a forest or something? Maybe they have to survive overnight and our characters are put together?

Yeah I like the forest, it seems like somewhere where you would get magical powers tbh.

Natalia stepped out of the bus and into the cold air. Her parents are making her stay at a cabin type camp in the middle of the woods for a few days with a couple other kids.They said something about "making new friends." She took one earbud out of her ear and walked over to where the other teenagers were.
𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴. She thought to herself as the head of the group called the roll.

"Samuel Grams."
"Here!"
"Frankie Dawson." The teacher looks around, as if looking for a boy to answer. She is surprised when a slightly curvy dark skinned girl with emerald green eyes and black and maroon hair answers "Here." Frankie says it with noticeable boredom. Ugh. I can't believe my parents sent me here. she thinks.

(should we set a limit on powers? Like I have three in mind already (had two, thought of another one))
