Megan: Blushes hard upon seeing nym looking alittle bedraggled and john lying back in his bed with his hair out of place "Oh…um it was fine. Just a little boring…we didn't make a lot of sales today…"
John grumbles softly as he got out of bed and fixed his hair trying to keep from laughing at the look on megans face as she stood in the hallway
Nym smiles warmly, knowing how Megan felt "I'm sorry, dear. Is it always slow to the point of bordem?" Nym turns and gives a small glare toward John for attempting to laugh
John covers his face and looks away managing a slight serious expression as he got up and walked up to nym and stood behind her
Megan: "It's fine, with a small book shop most days will be slow. I just hope you two are ready to be beaten again! Because I have an ace up my sleeve tonight!" Megan grins then walks away to her room to get ready
John calls after megan as she walked away to her room "Please keep an eye on kit, and I promise you that I will win this time! Last time was a fluke!"
Nym giggles, then turns to face John "You two are cute." She reaches up to kiss his jaw, then turns to walk down the stairs
John grins at nyms statement as he followed her downstairs to the living room "Cute eh?" John laughs and shakes his head with a smile
Megan: Rummages through her room and changes her clothes she then checks herself in the mirror before heading downstairs. Eager to begin game night since she knew it might be the last time she will see him for a while
Nym laughs as she bounds down the stairs to the living room "Very." She sits down on the couch and pats the space next to her for John to sit and asks jokingly "Is this a completely hands off event?" Nym chuckles
"That depends love" John sits next to nym and turns giving her a quick kiss on her jaw before he laughed softly
Megan: Jumps the last few steps and covers her eyes when she seen John kiss nym "Ewww, none of that please you guys!" She then turn and looks at the games to pick one out
"I guess that's a yes from Megan." Nym laughs, then leans back on the arm of the couch "What's tonight's game?"
Megan: Jumps and hops excitedly as she holds a game to her chest then she sets it on the living room table "It's scrabble this time! But be careful…dad cheats on this one"
John makes a face then sticks his tongue out at megan and laughs "I do not! And if I supposedly cheat at scrabble then you more then cheat at poker!"
Nym laughs "I'll try to keep him in check." She winks at Megan. "Although, I suck at scrabble you guys."
John grins wryly then he glances a nym and laughs as he gabbed what he needed to play "I'll help you nym…and it's fine. I apparently suck at that game called life"
Megan: She laughed then grabbed her pieces to start the game and shook her head "I have a good feeling I might win now….hope you can keep up!"
Nym shakes her head as she skeptically grabs what she needed "No way I'll be able to do that."
Megan: "Just take it easy…it shouldn't be too hard …" She pauses as she looked at nym and noticed that she was wearing what seemed to be a wedding band
-15 minutes later-
Nym sits back "Oh, come on. Nope, nope, no way. I'm done, I don't understand." She fold her arms over her chest and jokingly pouts
John grins then he looks at nym and gives her a sly smile "Are you sure?…Are you really sure you want to quit?"
Megan: Laughs then scrunches her face up in concentration "Umm…..dang…..This is so hard"
Nym nods "Absolutely, my baby mind can't form elaborate words. I mean, come on, I'm a writer for goodness sake!"
Megan: "You write! Oh my gosh! Why in the world was I not told this dad….!" Megan scoffs then looks up at john and makes a pout face
John didn't see megans look as he concentrated on the game and trying to win this time
Nyn laughs "Remember I told you I was an editor? I dabble in writing occasionally." Nym kicks John's side lightly
Megan: She blinks then covers her face and laughs "Opps ….I forgot…you guys have ben gone alot" she makes a slightly sad face then grins as she laid a word down on the board
John blinks then grabs nyms foot to prevent her from kicking him again "Ow!…Must you kick me love?"
Nym laughs "I understand. I forfiet my turn." She looks at John with a smirk and a laugh "I didn't kick you that hard, but it's not as bad as my bite." She looks over at Megan with a flushed face "I'm sorry hun."
Megan: she blushes hard then laughs softly "No…it's fine. Me and uhhh….nevermind…." she blushes again then whines softly "Okay..I give up! You win ….but keep in mind that I let you win!"
John laughs then he mutters under his breath softly "I will certainly find out later…" John then throws a fist in the air and laughs while smiling triumphantly "Yes! Haha!"
Nym smiles at Megan, then giggles at John "Okay, I'm still sleepy. I'm gonna hit the hay." Nym stands and stretches "I nominate the winner to clean up."
John laughs then it turns into a frown and he pouts "What!? No fair you two….I won…" John grumbles playfully as he watched nym walk up to his bedroom
Megan: She turns and watches nym leave then confronts john "What the hell dad! Why is their a wedding ring on her finger!!!! Why would you do that after knowing what marianna did to you and that you might not survive something like that again!"
John sighs then answers megans questions in an even tone "I want to have a wife …and a full family! Don't you want a mom? Or a sibling….I love nym and she treats me well and I can tell she genuinely loves me"
Megan: She huffs and gets up feeling ashamed for attacking him like that "I'm sorry…maybe tell me sooner next time.." she leaves and goes to her room as john cleans up
Nym climbs into John's bed and burries herself under the covers aa she waits for him
John finally puts the game away and climbs tiredly up to his room and trudges to his bed stripping his shirt off as he climbed into the bed "Nym.."
"John… You okay?" Nym slides herself into his chest, listening to his breathing, heart beat, and voice
John nods as he wrapped an arm around nym pulling her even closer then he smiles "Yes..megan is just a little upset over me asking you to marry me"
"Oh…" Nym became quiet not knowing what to say
John closes his eyes as he listened to nyms even breathing "Yeah….I know she likes you. She is just wary of trusting you" John places a kiss on nym forehead and smiles slightly
Nym pulls a half smile "I can understand that. Do you think she will ever come to trust me?" Nym moves to look up at him
