Other School RP (Private RP)

(Okay, I'm just putting this out there. It's Brendon. Not Brandon. It's not that big of a deal, but I just wanted you to know.)
"Dead. As usual." He shrugged. "You?"

"Better now that you're here." Caire smiled, brushing a strand of hair out of her face.

He smiled a little. "What are you doing out here?"

"Oh, you know… just reading. It's a lovely day to just enjoy nature, isn't it?" Caire looked over at the forest almost longingly.

"It really is. I'm just waiting for the rainy season to kick in. Always my favorite time of year." He smiled at the image.

"Really? Why's that?" Caire's hazel eyes flicked back over to Brendon.

"Rain is so beautiful. You never see it but it touches everything it can reach and makes it shine. I don't know, it's just kind of poetic in a way." His eye sparkled with delight. It's what happened whenever he talked about something that he loved.

"You were staring off into the distance," Jack explained, "Just making sure you aren't dead."

"Oh." She realized what she'd been doing. "I'm not dead. No death shall ever hamper my love."

Jack grinned at her, "Very good m'lady."

Paige smiled in return. "So… my mom said that everyone would get a part. That means if I don't get Juliet… I'll still have to be in it…" Her expression dropped.

Jack frowned before perking back up, "Well. I'm sure you won't get a major part. Maybe Juliet's mom or something."

"Okay, good," Paige sighed with relief. "I had fun, but I still wouldn't want to be Juliet."

"Yeah," Jack nodded, "Small steps right?"

"I suppose so, hmm?" Caire smiled softly, turning her gaze back to the forest. Her heart ached to be back in it, but she knew it wasn't safe to be there at the present time. "I love the sound of rain… it's very soothing. And just the smell that comes after it rains, that natural earthiness that resonates from the forest floor."

"Yeah. Just like kissing in front of the whole theater cast…" she smirked knowingly but still blushed.

Jack also blushed as he responded, "Something like thst. Yes."

"What about in the corner of the school cafeteria?" she asked innocently.

Jack responded easily, "Oh I see nothing wrong with that at all."

Paige grinned and kissed him lightly.

He sighed, staring out at the forest. "It'll be so sad to see it go. The natural beauty of this town replaced with metal."

Jack was smiling as he kissed her back.

"We have to save it, don't we? Isn't there something we can do? The forest is like my home… I can't just watch some stupid rich people tear it all down."

"I mean there's always something we can do. The question is, can you find the right people to do it?"

"I know people who will fight for it, but they don't know it's being torn down yet… I don't really know anyone with authority, though. The only people I know will actually physically fight if anyone tries to hurt the forest."

He didn't answer right away. He was debating something. Figuring something out. He sat quietly for a few minutes, gathering his data before it clicked. "Are you an elf?"

Jack was smiling as he kissed her back.

Paige's chair moaned as she shifted to get closer and wrapped her arms around Jack's neck.

Caire froze for a moment, looking over at Brendon with a hint of fear in her eyes. "…So what if I was?"

Jack wrapped his arms around her waist as he pulled her closer.

He didn't look skeptical or anything. He looked excited. He'd never met an elf in person, only heard of them. "I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm curious."

"Well… yes. A woof elf, to be precise." Caire hesitated before tucking her hair behind her ears, revealing that they were pointed.
