Sherry grinned, both to herself and the girl. "Of course." She was starting to like this girl, in her intoxicated state.
Parallel 9// Closed (stalkers welcome)
"I don't know. Wine." She mumbled, smirking over at Mara.
"Well," Sherry thought to herself, deciding on her powers. "I can make you drunk."
Sappho felt a slight tingle of magic in the air. There was magic everywhere around her, but for some reason this snagged her attention. Someone was using their abilities for a bit of fun. Her eyes flicked through the room with more attention now, until they landed on a pair of women sitting upon the velvet couches. She motioned for another drink and settled in for the show.

“Hm? Oh…” Etho drawled, sounding entirely disinterested, as always. “Sorry, who are you?” he asked, only then bothering to turn his head and look at Azazel. For once, he really wasn’t exactly interested yet—in fact, he was just the slightest bit irked that someone had bothered to interrupt his bit of relaxation. And from the looks of it, this stranger was at least a level three—a good snack for later, if he decided to pursue it
(sorry for not responding lol)
Azazel felt slight irritation at the fact that Etho didn't recognize him, but he masked his emotions and smiled warmly instead. "The name's Azazel. Pleasure to meet you." He quickly scanned Etho again, taking in his demeanor, trying to figure out exactly who he needed to be in that moment. If he played his cards right, Azazel could connect to his soul, and he'd finally have a much needed high level demon serving him.
(it's good fam)
If anything, Azazel's slightly pompous tone only made Etho's disinterested look intensify. "And?" he asked, barely raising a brow as he waited for the other to say something that might at least make him worth the time. At this rate, the other just looked like a snack in a suit, and not even a good one. Looks aside, the overall vibe he was getting from the other was just making him want to finish his drink and leave
Mara felt her brain start to go a little funny and she found herself giggling. She tested her own power within herself, making sure she was still in control if needed. She was, so she didn’t fight the intoxication. “I see. Can you take it away?”
“I can…unless I don’t want to. Then I don’t.” She smiled and tilted her head sweetly.
“The wine, mostly, and the dancing.” Sherry admitted, giggling a little. “And you?”
“I believe I also mentioned the dancing. And the music. Wine itself is mediocre here.” She smiled right back at Mara. “What company, now?”
“Why’s that,” Sherry asked, sipping her wine and raising her eyebrows, pushing a little more drunkenness into her.
Mara's brain felt sluggish. Sherry must have used her power on her even more. This had to end. Mara was disappointed that she couldn't play this way a little longer, but this couldn't continue like this. She gripped Sherry's knee and stared into her eyes. She formed a bond between the two of them, one where Mara was in charge. She watched Sherry's eyes glaze over. "Take your power away from me," she said, smiling sweetly. Her words may not have been the best at the moment, but to her credit, she was pretty drunk at this point.
Sappho couldn't help the grin that slashed over her fair face as she watched the stronger woman strike. It was like watching a shark attack, the viciousness and cruel nature coming out to play, Sappho couldn't take her eyes off them. What a show indeed. I wonder if she will eat her? She was getting quite ravenous herself and her eyes drifted slowly around the club, looking for her own next meal.

Sherry rolled her eyes, still in character, although she obediently retracted the intoxication without complaint.
(wut)
(like, still what her normal personality would be. Sorry. just ignore that.)
(hey sorry I've been so inactive I promise I'll start responding more consistently by tomorrow)

Asura’s irritation grew, and for a moment, he struggled to find words. “I’ve heard quite a bit about you,” he said, looking out over the balcony as he spoke. Ths is fine, he thought, exhaling slowly through his nose. Figuring people out isn’t always easy. Especially when it comes to people like him. You’ll get it.
(I apologize for such a trashy response)

Mara smiled sweetly. "Thank you." She felt herself return back to normal and she felt much more in control. She was having trouble reading Sherry though. She couldn't tell if Sherry was still into it and if she would get anything out of this interaction, or if she should move on.
