"I know. But so am I." He replied with a shrug.
"Please don't kill me" Lilli reached up and kissed him gently.
His eyes widened, staring at her. "I…what was that for?" He asked, startled.
He looked at her, blinking. "I…" He shook his head slightly. "That…" He pursed his lips, thinking.
He sighed, swallowing. "Let's go." He started walking.
He kept walking.
Emerson kept walking, mind a whirlwind of thoughts.
Lilli kept walking but stopped when she saw trevor walk towards her.
Emerson spotted Trevor, and took a protective step in front of Lilli, crossing his arms.
Emerson narrowed his eyes slightly. "And what business do you have with her, Trevor?" He asked.
He tipped his head slightly. "Excuse you?" He asked, staying protectively in front of Lilli.
"I did. But what makes you think she's yours?" He asked, a faint growl in his voice.
She's my mate. "Doesn't mean you can have her, Trevor. She is under my protection." He replied.
"Not for long your dad wants you too be alpha which means you have to find your mate" he said.
He shrugged. "I already know. And even once I become Alpha, she will still be under my protection." He replied, wondering why Lilli was being so quiet.
"Trevor why don't you buzz off" lilli said. "not a chance princess" trevor said.
Emerson frowned slightly. "Do you understand, Trevor? You leave her alone. She is not up for grabs."
"What do you mean? It doesn't matter what you think, I said leave her alone. That's an order, from your beta!" He growled a bit at the last few words.
Lilli fell on her knees her head pouching she let out a soft sream of pain.
Emerson crouched beside her, gently tucking an arm around her. "Lilli?" He said worriedly.
