Shawn walked and heard the conversation. "No. I would say…Someone else." He joked about Allison. "But Jax is right. This ship's a beauty. All I know is that It might blow up in our faces but I don't care. " he joked again. He loved to make jokes.

Jax pouted through her mask.
"We didn't tie! What about Rainy? Rainy's pretty! And she's smart!"
As Shawn made his entrance, the girl turned her attention to him.
"Chimera won't explode! She's much stronger than that!"

Rael just gave a slight shrug in response as he closed the window. "I dunno Allison, everyone is attractive in some way.", he nodded before lightly chuckling,"When I was sixteen, I used to be attracted to a lot of other people who were close to my age. My sense for aesthetic attraction was wild. Besides, it's the crew, I can't do that."
Behind her was Shawn, Rael couldn't help but grin again. "Wow is everyone coming over? I haven't even rung the bell to tell everyone that breakfast is ready!", he giggled,"Morning to you too Shawn and of course, the ship's little lass Jax." Standing up, he went over to check on the biscuits. They seemed fine to him, there was still some heat on them but a decent amount.
Covering his eyes, he started to laugh before shaking his head. "Come on breakfast is ready, do you really want me to make you guys last?", he asked. Removing the piece of cloth from his head, Rael sighed as he stuffed it in another pocket. He went over to Jax and knelt beside her,"Do you want to ring bell my dear?"

"Who's saying Chimera will blow up now? She's a tough lady, and has braced far worse than I in all my time sailing her." Lio sat himself down by Carsyn, a solid, protective force from anything that could harm her. He knew how she got during storms.
"Now, what has the great chef Rael cooked up for us this horrible morning?" he asked, voice still a little gruff from sleep. A huge clap of lightning rattled the ship to its bones, shaking the table and those seated at it among other things. Other things being the whole ship.
"Eat quickly, I'm not sure how much she'll take even in as light a storm as this. Storm season, not good for travelling. We need to keep the ship on course."

"Yes!" Jax jumped up and ran to the bell, ringing it. She was beaming under her mask as it rung.
"Captain!" The girl sprinted across the kitchen, slipping as the ship shook. She fell to the ground, but quickly stood up, sitting herself next to Lio.
"I'm okay, don't worry about me!"
(Hey I kind of forgot how bad I am at group RPs, but I think I'm going to drop this so I don't take up a role somebody else could do much better)

"You're tough as nails, kiddo, I doubt anything to bad will happen. You'd sooner fight it," he chuckled, ruffling Jax's hair a bit. He was still worried about the storm, the effect it might have on morale. Chimera was getting older, after all…

Rael couldn't help smile watching as Jax ran over to ring the bell. Seeing others ring it was exciting and heart warming to him. The enjoyment of the ringing is still the same though. Getting up, he took a step back while clapping. "Wow, I think you do a better job than me with the bell Jax! You could do the same for dinner if you want.", he offered.
Hearing Allison, he glanced over giving a slight nod. "I'll be busy after mealtime, but you can gladly come back to the kitchen.", the cook smiled.
Rael went to the corner of the kitchen picking up the barrel of ale. He sat it down on the table then grabbed the box with the mugs inside. When the ship shook, he dashed over to make sure that the trays and bowls wouldn't fall and break. Any slight change in motion always took a peak with anxiety for him. A small sigh left his lips knowing that he made it on time. Noticing the captain, he gave a slight bow. "Oh come on Lio, I just do what I know how.", he beamed,"This morning we have rice porridge, beans, and biscuits. There's also ale to drink as well."
