Nina fell through the trees, next to… a dragon? "HOLY GAIA HOLY GAIA HOLY GAIA I'M DEAD!!!"

A sound nearby caught Mizpah’s attention, and his head snapped in that direction. There was another human by him, and a growl rumbled in his throat. He felt a strange emotional like tug towards the human, but he chose to ignore it, stretching to his full height.
Ruby ran over to help the girl, "Are you okay?"

Nina held out her arm, a glowing silver tree had appeared.
Ruby held her arm to show her own, "You're a dragon rider. You must have bonded with a dragon near here. I'm Ruby and this is my dragon Quill."

Mizpah hissed, shifting backwards a few meters before he relaxed again. He kept on guard, the light glinting off of his golden scaled as he watched the pair warily.

"You're not on drugs," Ruby rolled her eyes, "Though honestly that would explain your reactions."
