"I don't know. Are you sure you want to stay out tonight? The moon isn't even up." Mars glanced up at the dim sky.

“Yeah, I’m sure, why?” Amai asked.

"Because… it's just…" Mars shook his head. "Nevermind."

“No, no, tell me,” Amai grinned, “Are you scared?”

"I mean, come on. This is stupid!" Mars glanced at him.

“I know. That’s why I want to do it,” Amai giggled.

"I feel like I'm the only one with sense between the two of us," Mars growled gently.

“Then you would probably be correct,” Amai laughed. He grinned at Mars.

Mars scowled and continued driving. The only good part about driving at night was the facts that 1. there was hardly anyone driving around and 2. the lights don't work.
