aight listen i havent set up the entire plot fully but basically this place is kind of like a Utopia/Dystopia depending on how you're looking at it and each Color/State (C:R is Color:Red that's kind of obvious lmao) has it's own color theme. C:R-C:B is great and fine but C:P has many ghost stories attached to it. Well, not necessarily ghost stories, but everyone is terrified of C:P. People tend to move to the color that they were born to live in. (i.e. maybe a red and yellow made a kid that loves orange??? it's more of a random color but thats basically it). and you were on the train to your color ( the train is the only form of teleportation through the colors) and you see a girl with purple hair (and a hat to hide the purple) wearing a rusty orange jacket and black jeans. you know the rumors about C:P. People that go to C:P never come back alive. in a quick second, you fear for this stranger's life. what u gon do???

Bio:being born purple and mocked because of it, Jaeden did everything she could to avoid purple. Up until about 12 years old, she hated the color purple. It wasn't until she turned 13 that she gave up pretending and decided to embrace her true self. Despite being proud as a purple, she still decided to hide her true colors hAH on the way to the train, in fear of people's warnings against going to purple.

I sit quietly on the train, looking out the window and peering at the people at the station. People with blonde hair and bright hazel eyes got off the train and started their new life in C:Y while people with natural ginger hair, blue eyes, or other variations of colors boarded the train. While I was tempted to talk to a few people, my shyness overcame me and I remained silent on my seat. I scooted even closer to the window, which was difficult considering I was already right against the window. I check my watch. 13 minutes until the train leaves. I inhale deeply as I wait patiently for the train to start moving and take me away from the place I grew up. All my family, my comforts, everything I knew, and I was leaving to go to something I've only ever heard negative comments about. I exhale as an attempt to calm myself down as I lean back in my seat.

I shoot my head around to put the face with the voice, shock layering my face with a bit of unnoticeable sweat.
"Uh, no it-it isn't." I shakily reply, moving my backpack to give them more space. I curiously study her hair, in awe by it's multiple colors. This interesting stranger seemed nice, so I decided not to assume they were going to judge my purple hair. I look into her grey eyes and give her a smile.
"My nam-my name's Jaeden." I stutter out, awaiting a response.

I smile, awkwardly and silently at first, but feeling a hint of gentleness with this girl. My mind races for the name of any candy I can remember.
"I-my favorite is chocolate." I say with a look of triumph. I do remember eating chocolate on the holidays. It had a wonderful, unique but sweet taste that lingered in your tongue for the next couple of minutes. I then, unable to think of any other conversation topics, asked the repetitive, stereotypical, non creative question.
"So, what color are you headed to?" I knew it was a question every traveler has heard hundreds of times, but this was my first time and I wasn't sure what I was doing.

I gratefully accept her chocolate and gleam in joy as I listen to her reply.
"Perhaps Purple." The word sent tingles of anxiety to run through every inch of my body as I stiffen.
"How about you? Green? Blue?" I panic, wondering if I should tell her the truth, but somehow my lips move without my permission.
"Uh-Red. I'll be on this train for a while, haha. You'll have gotten off by then, of course. You already knew that." I catch myself rambling and try to stop myself. A clear expression of disappointment in myself fills my face as I blush.
"I'm sorry, I'm just nervous, I haven't been on the train before, you know?"
I could feel a pit growing in my stomach the deeper I dig myself into this lie. It's a harmless lie, but why do I feel so guilty over it?

Listening to Candy talk was probably the most comforting moments I have ever experienced. I almost became lost in a trance, until she mentioned the word Earth. I perked up, despite knowing very little about Earth, I did know one thing.
"Oh! I've learned about that. I don't know too much, but I do like Alaska. I heard there was a thing called Northern Lights? That sounds like an experience you can only dream of." I turn my head to look at the fresh greenery that seemed overwhelmed with life and vegetation. My eyes are flooded with awe as I watch it all zoom by me until we reached the station. Over the speakers, a friendly voice said, "Welcome to the city of Green. The train will remain at this station for 50 minutes. Feel free to get off and stretch your legs if you are not staying, thank you." I look over at Candy with a curious face, wondering what she plans to do but unable to find the words to ask her.

Funnily enough, it's as if she read my mind before I could. When she suggested walking around for a bit, I grinned.
"Okay," I murmur and stand up, grabbing my backpack. I let her lead me through the crowds and out the train station as we enter the world of absolute green. Large oak trees with fruits lined a pathway into the streets, which weren't necessarily streets, but rather large paths of grass. Each building was it's own shade of green, even pet dogs were dressed in green sweaters or socks. It was quite the sight, I think I even saw shades of green that I've never seen before. In awe at the beauty and life, I almost forget that Candy was taking me somewhere. I snap back into reality and look to where we're headed.

The words "Mint Ice" flashed into my eyes as I stare in genuine disbelief for a few seconds.
"Ice…like ice cream?" Endless waves of wonder engulf me as I begin to get overly excited.
"I…what should I order?" I ask her, assuming she'll know exactly which flavors are the best. The cool, natural atmosphere and the smell of coffee beans mixed in the air as I inhale, experiencing a sensation I've never felt before.

As soon as my eyes fell upon our meal, I remembered that there is no possible way I could afford to pay Candy back for this, and I feel guilty, but unable to bring it up right now. Instead, I pick up the spoon from the ice cream and take a refreshing bite. The flavors melted in my mouth as I'm almost taken back by the burst of sweetness. I nod quietly at Candy's proposal, unable to speak with all the ice cream in my mouth.

I freeze where I sit. How will I be able to get out of this one? I can't say "sure" and never show up, that's rude. Should I keep lying? Tell her I'm in a hurry and don't have time? It's not like the train will stop for 50 or so minutes and give me plenty of time to meet up. I don't want to break her heart. I decide to come out with the truth.
"Listen," I say, nervously brushing a bit of hair behind my ear. "there's something I need to tell you." She seemed nice enough, right? She won't judge me, right? She won't decide that "oh, never mind, I don't want to talk to you", right?
"I'm not going to Red," I inhale deeply as the words escape my mouth. Too late now. Can't back out. "I'm going to Purple." The bomb drops as I await for the disappointment to radiate from her body, or the loss of interest in befriending me to befall upon her. Whatever it is, I'm prepared for it.

I guess I wasn't actually prepared. Shock hits me like a truck and it takes me a good 30 seconds to properly react. She…doesn't even mind? She doesn't even care, and would actually come with me to Purple? I'm so filled with joy as I smile I let out a breathy laugh.
"Really?!" I say that a little loudly, and lower my head as I immediately feel the eyes on me. I repeat myself, but more quietly, this time.
"Are you sure you want to do that? I mean, I can't even ensure that I'll survive. What if it's a radioactive wasteland? What if it's a war zone? What if it's-" I trail off, trying to think of more terrible places that have been theorized to be Purple. I inhale unsteadily as I think about what Purple could really be. A battlefield? Hell? Worse? Why am I even going to Purple? I guess out of spite. Everyone mocked me for embracing Purple. I remember deciding one night that I'd go there just to prove to them that it's not that bad. It was then I realized how curious I actually was to see it. I shakily take off my beanie to run my fingers through my hair, my heart tightening as I imagine everyone looking at me. Maybe they're not, but I still worry that all heads turn towards me when they see my hair.

I laugh nervously, trying to hide my possible blushing. "Thank you." I murmur, attempting to resist the urge to hastily put my beanie back on.
"So you'll come to Purple with me?" I add, returning to the topic at hand. "I didn't want to admit how actually nervous I was-am. I thought if I faked my confidence then maybe it'll become true." I turn around and open my backpack, folding up the beanie and carefully placing it into the already stuffed backpack. Turning back to Candy, I await her confirmation, which I didn't necessarily need, but provoked it anyway.

After the rushed run, Candy and I sat huffing and puffing on the train seats. A few moments passed of us heavily breathing when Candy started giggling. I turn my head to her, already laughing from her contagious giggle.
"What?" I asked through chuckles. As the words come out of my mouth, the train bell beeps through the speakers and the engine hisses. Machinery begins working, and, slowly but surely, the train starts moving. Off to blue. I've heard stories about Blue. The Caeruleum Forest at night was magical. Every night, thousands of fireflies come out and shine their little lights, speckling the forest. It's quite a scene, but since it happens every night, it's only popular to visitors. I quietly do the math of when the train will arrive at Blue, and estimate it will arrive at around 9pm, giving Candy and us enough time to check it out. I wonder if she knows about it.

I breathe in gently but quickly to try to smell the food that caught Candy's attention. As the train slows to a stop, I look at Candy with excitement in my eyes.
"I think they are. You thinking what I'm thinking?"
I quickly stand up and rush out the doors. My boots jump from the iron of the train stairs to the cold brick crosswalk. The air was cool, not humid like Yellow, and the white street lights gave off a gentle blue hue around them. I look at Candy, smiling uncontrollably. I turn around and look further into the distance. Various colors filled the train station, but Blue dominated everywhere else, especially at night. Blue diner signs that read "OPEN" complemented almost every door. People in blue based outfits walked around with their blue personalities. Slow acoustic music riddled the area, and I could even catch a few people singing along to the music. A particular blue light catches my eye and I turn to see a group of people walking into what looks like a subway, but can't be that considering this train is the only train. I begin to wonder what is down there underground.
