Amaya sat down and giggled. "God. My ex can be so gullible. And I can be so convincing." She rolled her eyes, leaving.

" He's a chill dude, but I love you so I'm on your side" Cortney says, grabbing Amaya's waist happily and holding the kids hand

"Are you serious? You let her throw you into a panic again? You might as well be at a disco." She snorted, smiling goofily into the phone. "Though, I gotta admit, you lost a nice butt on that one~" She sang.

Amaya grinned, and kissed her girlfriend on the cheek.

" Okay, well we couldn't find the candy here, so how about we go to another store to try and find it?" Ellie says, the word candy rolling off her tongue like music to the child.

Amaya left, quietly.

" Where are you going love?" Ellie says, still holding the childs hand

"I'm not sure." Amaya sighed

Ellie sighs, " thank god…" she says in relief. " I thought I was going to be abandoned for a second there." Ellie says, dragging the child into the parking lot with them.

"No, you weren't. God my ex can't take a prank. This is why we divorced."

" Yeah, he seems kinda up tight… we love this little one, wouldn't trade him for the world" Ellie says, smiling at the child, hand in hand with Amaya

Caspain looked up at his mothers with a little grin on his face

" So, how about we go home and you can work on your homework, and when you're done, we'll go out and buy some of that thing you wanted, sound good Caspain? " Ellie said with a thriving certainty he was going to say yes.

"Fine.." Caspian huffed.

"good, buckles up back there okay?" Ellie laughs as they get into the blue volkswagen golf. " I can drive if you're tired Amaya…" Ellie says, looking at her dazing out the window

"Thanks." Amaya smiled, getting into shotgun.
