put me back together (one on one/closed)

Bastian couldn't keep from smiling. Halo was just so adorable, he couldn't bear to move him from his spot. He kept rubbing his hips and sides, loving how content he looked

Halo shuts his eyes, his breathing even and deep. He slowly starts to doze again.

"Don't fall asleep on me again, angel," Bastian murmured softly. "We still have to go get lunch, remember?"

"Mmm… Isn't it a bit late for lunch? What about we go out for dinner before we have to work?" He mumbles, not wanting to move.

Bastian sighed. "I guess," he chuckled. He continued to rub Halo's sides affectionately, smiling as he did so

Halo smiles and kisses Bastians nose. "Besides, I like being like this…" he mutters softly, nuzzling him.

"Yeah, I like it too," Bastian said with a small smile. He let his eyes fall shut again, though he quickly opened them when he realized he had forgotten to feed his snake. "Hey, um. Do you…like snakes?" he asked slowly

"Yeah, why?" He asks softly, nuzzling the other as he relaxes again.

"I have a ball python and I sort of forgot to feed him yesterday," Bastian admitted with a small chuckle. "He's kind of big, but he's adorable."

Halo perks, "Seriously? I love ball pythons!" He giggles softly. "I had one as a kid."

Bastian smiled dorkily. “Do you want to see him? His name is Monty. He’s sort of my version of a therapy animal.”

"Monty as in Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail?" Halo asks, snickering a little bit. "That's actually quite clever."

Bastian nodded, a wide grin on his face. "Finally, someone gets it," he chuckled

Halo laughs a little and kisses Bastian's nose. "Then shall we go feed this mighty python?" He asks, smiling.

Bastian nodded, smiling as he got up. He walked over to what looked like a blanket thrown over a box, though when he removed the blanket it revealed a large ball python curled upside down around a branch in a cage. It was rather pretty, since it was a cinnamon pastel morph

Halo 'oohed' and smiles, "He's so elegant." He mutters, placing his fingertips gently on the glass.

Bastian nodded, grinning dorkily as he opened the cage. He reached for Monty, who almost immediately slithered up his arm

Halo watches with an excited sparkle in his eyes. He pushes his blonde hair from his face, smiling a little.

Bastian pulled Monty out of the cage, who had now slithered up his arm to wrap loosely around his neck

Halo smiles, "He's incredible." he purrs softly, staring at the snake in awe.

Bastian smiled warmly at him. “Do you want to pet him?” he asked

(and monty python is hahahahha I love it)

Halo nods slowly, "I-if I may?" he asks quietly, outstretching his hand to the python.

Bastian shifted the python a bit so that he could pet it

Halo smiles, gently petting the python, humming a little as he felt the scales beneath his fingertips.

Monty looked over at him a bit dorkily before trying to slither onto Halo’s hand

Halo chuckles softly and allows the snake to do so, smiling.

The snake crawled onto his wrist before staying there. Bastian smiled warmly. “Looks like he likes you.”

Halo smiles a little chuckling softly. "Hello Monty." He says happily.
