"Ready?" Bastian asked, giving Avie one last pat before setting her gently down on the floor

Halo nods. "Ready to go." He says happily.
Bastian set Avie down gently, her leash in hand as he made his way towards the door
Halo grabs the stuff, humming happily and glances at Bastian, smiling warmly.
Bastian smiled, pressing a kiss to his cheek before opening the door for him
Halo exits and hefts the bag, giggling softly as he heads towards the car.
Bastian walked after him, humming happily while Avie trotted alongside them
"Mmm. I love the park." Halo says, "It's where I first found Glitch." he chuckles softly at the memory. The puppy was so sweet and cute. He had taken the dog in until they had to put him down because of how sick he had become.
"Glitch?" Bastian asked curiously. He had never heard mention of them before
"Glitch was a dog of mine. A small Japanese Spitz. I loved him a lot, the spoiled little thing." Halo rolls his eyes.
"Aww, that sounds adorable," Bastian cooed. "Maybe we could get Avie a friend one day. Maybe a Shiba Inu?" he suggested
"Awww, that would be adorable." Halo chuckles, "He was a very sweet dog."
"We might have to look into getting another puppy again," Bastian chuckled
Halo chuckles, "I think we should have Avie get used to us first, then we can get another one. It's like having a kid with that one." Halo says, nudging his head at Avie.
"It is, you aren't wrong," Bastian agreed with a small laugh. Though when Halo compared having a dog to having a kid, it did sort of send a pang of anxiety through him
Halo smiles softly. 'Of course, she's not as needy as a child, so that's a plus. She just wants attention. Like a certain someone I know."
"I might want attention, but at least you get a good time out of it," Bastian chuckled
Halo snorts at that and rolls his eyes.
Bastian laughed a little. "Come on, baby, you know you love it. I mean, just look at last night," he purred
Halo blushes a bright red, "Yeah. But if I recall properly, I was the one on top."
"And it was all kinds of fun," Bastian purred, nudging Halo with his elbow with a smile
Halo laughs. Avie barks excitedly and runs circles around Bastian, wrapping his legs within the leash.
"Hey, hey, that's Halo's job!" Bastian laughed, turning circles with Avie so that she couldn't tangle him up too much
Avie barks again, stopping and looking rather proud of herself. "Good girl!" Halo purrs. She wags her tail and barks happily.
"That is not something you should be telling a puppy that tangled your boyfriend up," Bastian huffed
Halo smirks, "Mmm… I'm still going to laugh." He teases.
"You'll laugh at anything at my expanse," Bastian huffed
"Mmm… I suppose. I still love you though." Halo replies.
"Yeah, I know," Bastian said, smiling as he pressed a kiss to Halo's cheek
Halo chuckles and kisses Bastian's cheek in reply. "C'mon! We're almost there."
