Antoine rushes through the door, before walking towards the class. He silently enters, humming a little tune as he hands his slip to the teacher before sitting down. He runs a hand through his blonde hair, sweeping the locks from his eyes before glancing around curiously at his classmates.

Avery added the last bit of colour into her drawing and whooped in joy “yes!!”

he runs into english right before the bell rang

Kaitlin looked over at the… very beautiful girl that had just made a cry of excitement. She shook her head. No, you can’t fall in love first day back.

(Hah.)

Realizing the other girl was looking at her, Avery blushed “I’m sorry if I disturbed you!”

“It.. It’s fine.” She replied, giving the girl a small smile.

“What’s your name?” She asked, tilting her head slightly

“Kaitlin, and yours?” She asked.

“I’m Avery!” She stood up and started walking towards her…. tripping very ‘gracefully’ over a root and making her sketchbook, pencils, and binder fly through the air

“Oh my god, are you okay?” Katie asked, walking over to help Avery pick up her things.

“Yeah. Stupid tree root.” She muttered

“Are you sure?” Katie handed her some binders and pens.

“Yep!” She said picking up her last book. Shoving everything in her backpack, she realized something was missing “my sketchbook, where is it?!” She asked looking around

“Here.” Katie handed her the last book she was holding.

“Oh thanks!” She smiled. Finally standing up straight, she looked at Kaitlin “I am Avery.”

“Kaitlin, it’s nice to meet you, Avery.” She said, offering her a shy smile.

She smiled “you too!”

“What.. what class do you have?” Katie asked.

“I have english first. What about you?” She asked

“I do too.” Kaitlin said, rubbing her arm.

“Shall we?” She asked, gesturing to the door

Kaitlin bit her lip for a moment before nodding, “Yeah, we shall.”

shes cute! Avery thought. Shaking her head to clear her mind, she smiled “onwards!”

Kaitlin smiled a little, and led them both towards the school and their class.

Avery went o her class and sat down in a desk near the back of the room
